The midfield must be told to play like this? Save your energy by standing still for 45 mins?

Dresdens new stand... Obviously looks great until it starts bouncing up and down like Old Trafford top tier did in the fa cup semifinal!

We've got Bruno in the middle, He's never gonna take a Pen again. Canny in attack, Fantastic at the back, But thank God Pope saved the day!

As soon as a keeper comes out of the box they should go by the same rules as an outfield player... And in my eyes it's just a coming together -
What have I missed?

So injured before we signed him, then injured whilst at Sweden but we are still talking about our physio's or training being the issue? Maybe it's like Wilson, where once a hamstring goes it's the balance of resting or risking it will pop again if not fully healed. Personally I reckon if we were in a relgation battle or had Bruce in charge we would be pushing the players to play asap. I mean if you look at Wilson he was out to three times in 20/21 as we needed him back the second he could walk!

Just make some f'ing subs man... This is not doing Southgate or the team any favours

Sterling has been one of our key players over the past few years but God he is so frustrating to watch. Plays like a 12 year old with no football intelligence or awareness at times
-
It is like he goes out of his way to find a formation or way of playing that is different to how the players play for their clubs. Walker CB, Saka LWB, god we even have the most natural goal scorer of a generation and he has to drop deep as no one will pass the bloody ball to him

Newcastle United 1-1 Bournemouth (17/08/2022)

Would it have been possible to play the ball from side to side say 20, 30 yards deeper and allow the forward players more space to run into or the midfielders to break the lines. We pushed to high up and fell into their trap every attack and ended up trying to break down a ten man defence at the edge of their box. Just seems we needed someone on the pitch to stop and reset the way we were playing... Whereas everyone was looking for Trippier to be our saviour. The poor bloke had hard enough challenge getting Miggy out of the way before he could cross the ball! -
Over reliance on first eleven... No time to rest them without impacting the actual game but then lose them for 3 or 4 weeks. Sods law

This has to be the post of the year! Or at least the best Wind up haha
