Next week the market will pick up... Chelsea, Barca etc will have cleared their squads out Rice, Mount will have made their moves West Ham will have money to burn Leeds, Leicester will begin their fire sales Villa will continue to buy players (how do they get around FFP ?) Kane will drag on all summer and then stay for one more year. we will have Mctominay links on repeat but then buy a young worldie out of the blue. I'm not coping lads

Three seasons, 19 league goals in 90 league games for Chelsea. Its not like he has been playing in a poor team either? ( This season apart)
-
I'm hoping the Club are waiting for the new reporting year and things start moving from next week. More so for the forums sanity as I think we all need that hit of excitement a random out of the blue transfer brings.

My two pennies on Arsenal... I didn't once look at Arsenals performance last year and think they needed a Cdm or CF ...( Pretty much like I never thought we needed David Batty and Asprilla back in the day but that's another story lol) Maybe they needed to replace a couple of outgoings but just think there was better value then 170 million for the two they bought. But if it means they are now out of the market for other player's thats great news for us.

Madders! Well that's made me feel a lot better...lol -

Simples I reckon we wanted him at our salary cap He wanted to join us at his salary expectations. Spurs got him as we were not prepared to move on our offer. Nothing to do with London or Champions League football but an extra 10 / 15 million across the length of a contract will still turn a millionaires head. I just don't think he was the one we were prepared to break our model for and restrict any future dealings -
Well played City... Just reduced arsenals budgets by an extra 20 million lol

This guy is good... Looks like he shares quality rather then quantity when it comes to Itk. So whoever is feeding him the insight... It's not a local journalist lol -
Think it's the perfect club for him. Think of how Lewandowski performed and you can see Kane replicating his style. Also a chance to bag 30 goals a season and some silverware

Emile is a quality player and I would snap him up today Actually think he needs to move away from Arsenal to reach his potential -

I would love Maddison here but maybe they see 26/27 at the edge of their transfer model? We seem to be looking at similar quality at 21 / 23 bracket but with the option to flip for a profit or extend in 4 years time. -
The thing is if it's to do with winning trophies then the city add ons are achievable ! Arsenal might as well went bigger again on the add ons and go for broke.

People... It's talksport And of course Levy thinks he can buy players cheaper then the market value and sell theirs at higher. -

He might have to do a Damien Duff and play in the championship before the window closes. -

Have Leicester sold anyone for money yet? Sure the only ones to leave have been on frees. There will be clubs hovering waiting to see what deals they can pick up but Leicester holding out for big money. Maybe they need to play Leyton Orient pre season to help focus their minds on what's needed. -
I feel this lad did not join the club with a clean slate and there are people who will never give him a fair crack of the whip. Howe likes him and in the behind the scenes video said he had been after him for a while. That's good enough for me and I'm sure he fits into the long term plans and tactics.

I do think further down the line these 8 year contracts will come back to bite them in the ass. It's not like these will be there forever players and will need to be replaced when the next manager moves on. There will also be players who will lose motivation to improve or play for a new improved contract?

What is the maximum you can go to in any stand. The Nou Camp is probably the closest to the max but that is awful when you get to the back. I just think everyone would love a 100k capacity as long as they are not the ones in the Gods
-
I wonder when the likes of Frazer and Hendrick and the likes will start to depart? Don't think the likes of Luton and Sheff Utd will do a forest and look to pick people up
-
Its a strange world where we manage to keep everything secret pre deal but then everyone knows the exact detail of his contract and how much money we have. Think our accounts guy must be Dom Joly screaming at the top of his voice

We are going to sign all the wonder kids from the tournament and bring them back on the plane!

Whose Baz?

I know I sound like an old timer but we need to be more Keegan... People quibbling about selling Maxi or Miggy would never had coped with his ruthlessness for improving the team. Quinn, Kelly, Cole, Ferdinand to finally nailing Shearer. Everyone a massive fans favourite but he somehow got everyone onboard and believing in him... Even though he broke my young heart when he sold Cole!

So how do we know we are not packaging the deals like Chelsea, just not as extreme? I'm still not 100 percent confident how it works but are people working out our 75 million based of the full fee or phased amounts over the various years? Because I'm sure the club will know what it's doing on the money side more than a few local journalists
