I was able to watch the first friendly from the USA but the second one was nowhere to be found. I likely can't watch so you lads need to let me know how they look.

One of the youtubers I watch does a yearly breakdown. They earn plenty if they work hard. I know a few gaming channels and with less than 1 Million subscribers were able to quit their day jobs. Earning barely anything is not correct unless you have very few subscribers.

No they are not. Profit/Loss across a rolling (what is it 3 years? ) window and these payments can get amortized across years depending on structure so when they hit the books matters for that rolling window.

I am pretty fired up. I scored a ticket to a game you guys would think is the most unimportant game of all time. Everton-Minnesota United which is being played 6 blocks from my house. The reason I am excited is I have never seen a premier league team play live despite my interest. I know, why start at the bottom of the barrel. I told the wife I'm going to wear my Newcastle shirt. She said "Why not the home team shirt you have?" Well, because I care way more about the Premier League and I may piss off a few Everton fans if there are any. Game is two days from now.

There has to be a rolling three year budget based on FFP. You'd have to be Everton to not have one. The thing is, the hits to the budget are amortized and across several years in many cases, as are the fluctuation of income from sponsorships and outgoing player sales. It's not set per year per se, at least that would make zero sense. It's a moving target based on these factors so yes, there is a limit but why would they say "We will only spend 50M this transfer period" when it's rolling.

The Tifo video after the takeover basically said with the right sponsorships and Ashley pocketing most of the cash it's possible to spend like 800M over the next few years but those big sponsorships haven't come yet so the budget isn't unlimited because as you point out there are the next few years to also consider and new sponsorships are coming likely but how much exactly isn't known yet.

Depends on how diplomatic Howe can be. One hypothetical is "You aren't likely to be first choice, I'm going to name Kieran Captain and you Vice Captain."
