This will be his last season with us no doubt about it . He will be able to get about 300k a week at another club and I doubt we can even afford to pay him half that really .
-
The hatred of Durham mags sums them up, it's about 15 mile to Sunderland from Durham and about 20 from Durham to Newcastle. Of course it's always going to be split so no idea why they think everyone born in Durham should be a die hard red and white .
-
The same reason they think that anyone younger than 35 that wasn't born before Keegan and the premier league came along are basically plastic mags unless you were born within a mile of SJP. They absolutely despise Durham mags with a passion as well or anyone else they perceive to be jumping on the Newcastle bandwagon despite us literally winning nothing for years and having very little success in that time .

Grealish is a very good player mind , not sure what's happened to him the last year or two but he would still be good enough for us even if he is a totally different player to the way we play. It will never happen though due to his wages .
-
No smoke without fire these days , him or his agent obviously fancy the move which is fair enough but we should be at least looking to double what we paid for him .
-
We need more money to improve and do better , we don't need to change the way we play when it has worked so well for us .
-
We play one way and that's with power, running and pace. It has got us champions league qualification twice and a cup so not sure why people feel we need to change that.
-
More goals and assists than Gordon last season and Forest fans seems gutted he could be on the move .
-
I wouldn't be against it for 80 million , he clearly wanted to join them last summer and we will never know if it contributed to him having a poorer season than the one before but I think it did . I would be confident we could improve the squad with that money and if we do have to sell a purple eventually then he is the most disposable.
-
At this moment in time the main thing Man United can offer that we can't is huge wages . We have a much better manager with a much better first 11 and are in the champions league . I know that eventually Man United will spend enough to get back to the top again but that's not going to be overnight so the lad isn't moving for that reason is he .
-
I don't understand why he is arguing against any of this . Yes we all know Man United are a far bigger club than we are but they are a total mess at the minute and not in the champions league next season. They are blowing us out the water with wages on Mbeumo and that's the only reason he is signing for them, as aside from wages unless he is totally daft in the head their is literally no other reason why he would pick them at this moment in time . 99% of footballers will always go where the money is and we are being told Mbeumo isn't doing that.
-
We aren't playing football manager here, we can't just go out and blast the majority of our budget on Bowen like you suggested. He is 29 this year and probably has about two good years left in him. We obviously wanted Mbeumo and Delap but Chelsea and Man United have blown us out the water with wages. What exactly do you mean that Eddie has to deliver? He's restricted with FFP and we can't just spend and buy whatever we want like our rivals can. We certainly can't pay the wages they can either . He brought us the likes of Tonali, Bruno, Isak and Botman so he has nothing to prove in the transfer market . Why should we have to sell Tino or Gordon which theoretically makes us weaker just so we can buy a few extra players who may or may not improve the squad ?
-
I thought he was a regular at Arsenal, why is he out of contract?
-
He's been fit for about 15 league games all season , we desperately need a half decent backup who can at least do the bare minimum when he can hardly move , it won't be easy finding someone that can do that though .

Joan García: Barcelona bound (Romano)
Geogaddi replied to Shays Given Tim Flowers's topic in Football
Would have been absolute woke nonsense having a bloke in goal called Joan anyway.
