I think Pep has proven to be right about Kalvin Phillips mind , he's been absolutely shite and unfit everywhere he's been for about 5 years now .

Think his performances and attitude over the last two seasons have made it hard for many people to warm to him, he has pretty poor overall in the league since that move to Liverpool fell through and that can only be one of two reasons. One is he was never that good in the first place and that good season was just a purple patch, the other is that he had his head turned. Depends on which one you believe really. I wouldn't boo him if he came on Sunday but he's certainly done nothing at all to earn a good send off like say Trippier will get. Don't think many people are even bothered we are selling him either which tells you a lot.

I would be embarrassed to be celebrating finishing above Sunderland this season. The fact it's even a close thing is embarrassing enough and it would look tinpot as fuck if we did finish above them and people made out it was some sort of achievement .

Southampton spying was definitely wrong but no way should they be kicked out. Boro had a chance to beat them and failed to do so, you can't then go back and reward them with a place in the final when they haven't been good enough to qualify for it.

Don't think he has any intention of signing a new deal but has not yet shown he is good enough for an elite club, think we could be stuck as nobody is paying big money for him so he will probably run his contract down and leave on a free in a couple of years.

I really hope Forest go through to the final mind, Villa made a complete mockery of the league not only with that team they put out but the players that were on the pitch didn't give a single fuck either . Spurs are now safe .

He must have a brilliant PR team this lad if Munich and Barca really are interested in him. The vast majority of people you speak to all agree that as long as we get decent money for him they aren't bothered about him leaving which tells you a lot about how they view him as a player . Think we originally wanted him for about 25/30 million as a Wilson replacement/ backup option . Was only when the Isak stuff happened and we obviously struggled to get anyone else in that we basically just panicked and massively overpaid for him to be our first choice striker .

Burnley played awful football and finished miles Sunderland and Leeds who were both promoted with them last season, suspect that's a big part of why he has gone.

Very true, when we had a bad run at the start of last season plenty dafties wanted him gone and were then made to look very foolish with how the season panned out. It's almost like they have just been waiting for another bad run so they can stick the boot in again. I know nobody really takes the X lot seriously but some of the stuff you see about Eddie from our so called supporters is truly mind boggling.

Watching that game last night its obvious Gordon is absolutely lightyears away from being near the level of that Bayern team. The Bundesliga is obviously really poor these days so he will do well in that as a squad option but in no world is he anywhere near good enough to be playing in them sort of high quality matches we saw last night. I really don't see Bayern being daft enough to give us the 70/80 million we want for someone who is just going to be a useful squad player.
