Admit I’m not his biggest fan but just checked his stats and he got 5 assists last season compared to murphys 2, joelingtons 1, longstaffs 2, miggys 1 etc. that’s still quite impressive for his limited time.

People keep saying qualifying for CL will give us considerable funds but we only get around £16m - the rest is earned on matches won etc. qualifying as a one off isn’t gonna turn us into Man City spending overnight and FFP isn’t just lip service. It is real so if people think we can keep just buying over and over then their in for a shock.

Agreed, I don’t bit into the whole ASM thing - sure he has good moments but if we get that kind of money for him then I personally think we’re could replace with better.

Disagree there - not only do we have CL next season to prepare for but also teams that sit back and a traditional LB who can help out in stack will also help that.

Someone who averages 16 games a season injured is a bigger risk.

I can remember at least one game where he scored to earn a point against Man City and they barely stayed up so he’s probably earned his fee already.
