Exactly the way I see it - you all of a sudden get new multi billionaire owners in overnight and kick off a new project when the books are padded out with mundane players, you can’t expect them to run out like rats from a sinking ship.

That was a different time and you can’t do that now, everybody is saying this year the ffp is serious and “finally has teeth” - direct quote from Chelsea chairman I think it was. People need to manage their expectations and not be ridiculous with what they think will come in. The clubs already said several times what they can spend and what they’re going to spend yet people on here choose not to hear them.
