Exactly this. Miggy was always gonna stop scoring, Wilson isn’t either and we have no one else to offer a goal that as we won’t seemingly play ASM for whatever reason. Teams seem to know how to stop us scoring now - let longstaf shoot all day cos he’s no threat whatsoever and run miggy to the touch line.

We play amazingly well but need more quality in the box. Get ASM on for me, at least he’s proved in the past he can get shots on target - longstaff cant

Said it the asm thread as well - regardless of their level I’m sick of our high level of unavailability from players. We need consistency and availability going forward from the squad if we’re going to improve going forward.

Agree on this unfortunately as I’d love to be wrong but yesterday of starting manquillo, lascelles and dubs and conceding 2 goals was very retro of how we used to play week in week out.

Agreed, I hate it when people unnecessarily use the race card. We have a player who misses so many games for one reason or another and divides peoples opinions due to his style of play as you either love it or not. To say those people that fall on the not side is racism doesn’t even warrant a reply in my opinion.

Well to quote Del Boy - “what happened last season is all epidemic”. Him, Burn, Target (and Trippier but he missed a lot of games last season) were some of the first players to jump at the offer and come here then be part of matching us up the table and for that I’ll always be thankful.

Played a massive part last season and never gonna knock him for that but if the club wants to keep getting better then we need to ensure the squad needs to keep getting better and we seriously seriously need a goal scorer with woods availability but who can put the ball in the net.

That’s my issue with him - too many shocking misses, maybe I’m being too harsh but the one yesterday and the ones against Leeds don’t sit with me at the moment. Just wish some of our players had a little more in front of goal because we’re creating the chances just not putting them away.

You know what - I live in Leicester and a lot of people said to me “you Geordies will turn on Howe the first time he gets something wrong” and I laughed at them then I read some comments on here. Defeats happen in football, he had to rest some players - took a gamble and it didn’t work, learn from it, grow and move on but phrases like “piss take”, “embrarrasing” and others on here is pathetic in my opinion.

A lot of people on here when it happened - they’ll deny it now though
