Gonna get jumped on for this but this has always been my opinion and still is - hated Rafa when he was manager for us and hate him now, his football bored me and I hate it whenever I read “rafaesq or Rafa style”. i know I’m in the minority and it’s just me but that’s my opinion.
-
So we are about the same standard as West Ham at the moment. I’ll take that all day long - great point now come on Liverpool!!!
-
Been at work, how have we played?
-
I’m glad somebody’s taking the blame
-
Bearing in mind when howe started we were 5 or 6 points cut adrift from safety (Watford I think it was), being on only 5 points after 10 games. Now unbeaten in 6 and a 3 game winning streak - what a turnaround.
-
I knew we’d win today?
-
Seems to be
-
Tough one - on one hand would be nice to rest ASM and sub hims as he’s so important but he could turn it on at any point.
-
That’s what you call krafth work
-
Yep, if there was even a slight risk then he shouldn’t have been out there.
-
These are the decisions that earn you the big money or get you the mackems job
-
Agreed, thinking beyond this game, if ASM is struggling and trippier is out for a while then we’re gonna need ASM back as quick as possible. Get him off and get Bruno on
-
Because with joelington on a yellow is risky perhaps? The last sub is a massive decision now, Bruno is always gonna be the man on I feel but who comes off?
-
We’re winning at the moment so that seems harsh
-
Seems to be, our injury record is insane
-
We haven’t been beaten when he’s played yet so I’m not gonna slag him off
-
Think you’re probably right
-
Seems people are already trying to get under Bruno’s skin, very little facts in this story and a very misleading headline to boot - just loads of details left out to possibly to insinuate more then there is? Bruno falls out in dressing room row
-
Then is that burn in LB I wonder?
-
Genuine question as I’m not watching their games - is he playing that well or is it just commentators and reporters loving him? He scored recently and the headlines were “Courtinho scores for Villa!!!” was it headline worthy?
-
Massive breathing space, 5 points above Norwich with a game in hand and superior goal difference meaning a draw against West Ham leaves then needing 7 points realistically. At that point I expect them to lose some fight as some players heads will drop surely.

I had a so called friend who was a Villa fan, when i I got married I invited him to the wedding - after the speeches etc he came up to me and my wife and said “thanks for the invite, wasn’t expecting one as I don’t like you and am only here for the food and drink, I get married next month and there’s no f&£cking way you’re getting an invite to my wedding”. He did get married the next month and didn’t invite me (by this point I couldn’t care less though). My point being is I can’t stand him as that still gave my wife a bad memory on that day and I can’t stand Villa.

I honestly hope you lot get to say I told you so and I look an idiot, I really do because if we win today I think we’re pretty much safe as this will go a long way towards it.
-
One being a fantastic free kick that don’t happen every game and one a crazy deflection - don’t expect that every game. Before the Everton game you have to go back to the 20th November against Brentford for the last time we scored more than one goal.
-
My apologies, I’ll be optimistic so I think we’ll beat them 9 - 0 and to quote the great SBR “you can’t score any more than that”.
