100% agree with you on Perez and everything you said but not Toney. When a goal scorer comes up from the championship in a bang average team and bags 22 goals in first 48 games I believe he deserves being accepted as a premiere league standard goal scorer.

The fact you don’t know it was called this even though it was over 3 months ago when renamed speaks volumes. It will bring money in but the name change won’t really buy widely acknowledged.

If the money brought in for a name change wasn’t worth it then nobody would have changed their names ffs, the proof is in the pudding. They’re better business men than any of us and haven’t done evening to earn our distrust so as far as I’m concerned then if they say we need to change the name to progress then that’s good enough for me. The same people that are saying “you better not change the name” are probably a lot of the same people saying “why didn’t you buy more players last window - moneys not an issue”. Can’t have it both ways

100% - the other option is a new ground or not complete. Either way we get left behind and never compete at the top or we get a new ground and it’s renamed anyway.
