There's going to be a much bigger spend this summer than I think we've ever seen. We'll have a much bigger playing budget because of the new sponsorship deals coming in and especially if we make Champions League. £200M total spend in the summer wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

100% we are where we deserve to be and arguably should be higher with a few more points that we couldn't take from Palace and Leeds particularly. At this stage of the season, the teams in the top 3 spots deserve to be there because they've consistently won enough games to be there. I would absolutely be happy with a good performance, no injuries and a draw.

I get wanting to be positive about this game and having faith in the team but I do think this game is going to be far far harder than some seem to think. I'd be happy with a draw in all honesty. They've got a very good sqaud with alot of quality.

Chelsea would seem an obvious place for Fati, they'll happily give him a 6/7yr deal at 250kpw at his age. If we're talking about taking players from Barca, I'd be looking at Joules Kounde, that would be a fantastic signing. Not cheap for a defender obviously (£65m+) but would cover RB as well as CB.

They know just I am aware that Rice started as a CB but his rise in the West Ham team and the England has come as a CDM. There's no way any team is spending the £100m+ on him to play as CB after what's he's achieved as a midfielder.

Yes they are different players with different traits and all that but that doesn't mean that West Ham won't be looking at someone like McTominay if Rice leaves. And I'm assuming you're joking by saying he'll end up playing at CB when he leaves, otherwise that would be some crazy stupid hot take.

They may want him but that doesn't mean they can just get him, there's lots of factors and McTominay/Fred leaving would be one of them. They'd need to free up a squad space for starters and also you have to consider whether a player wants to join a team where there are already 4/5 players in their position. Selling isn't just to release funds to buy other players, that's just one part.

My issue with this is perhaps we shouldn't be looking at McTominay but more so who Man Utd would be trying to get in if McTominay leaves. I'd hate for us to sign him and then Man Utd go and get Kone off the back of that, would be hard to swallow.

Dangerous game to play though if he is serious about wanting to achieve something with England. Him/his people will be the first to complain when he doesn't start at the next major tournament but things like this will be the reason why.

I don't remember that about Fun88 I think they were actually extended for a year at one point because we couldn't find anyone better. The Noon logo is what it is, I don't mind it and its less offensive than some other sleeve sponsors even whilst being bright yellow.

Really good news that he's back available. Can't see him starting though. Reckon Howe will endeavour to keep as close to the same team as possible, with Joelinton being the only change for ASM.

Wouldn't be cheap to buy out 3yrs of a contract, especially as Castore would have no reason to want to be bought out, they'd make far more money/publicity remaining with us. It's a real shame.

Obviously Fun88 won't be our shirt sponsor next season but what are the chances we'll actually be able to get rid of Castore? I seem to remember they signed a pretty lengthy deal.

Not necessarily, alot of rumours linking us with Tierney and his fitness record is also terrible. I'd take Ox on a free but that's about it.
