  1. Genuine question. Why would we choose to be sponsored by a company outside of Saudi? I could understand somewhat if it were a British/well known Worldwide company but being sponsored by another Middle Eastern countries company seems peculiar.

If one thing we've all learnt from this season (and last season also) is not to be too quick to write off any player. He'll be invaluable next season with his ability to adapt to different positions and systems.
  3. Not called LiVARpool for no reason. It's all to do with the ridiculous amount of officials who come from the North West. The bias is hard to ignore.
  4. Maddison would be crazy to go to Spurs in the summer. Would say alot about him if that's what he chooses to do.
  5. Very tempted to put a couple of quid on us to get 2nd spot. 150/1 with SkyBet. Also, interestingly we are 12/1 to win the Premier League next year

Hell be second choice LB next season and will get himself more appearances than this season just down to the fact we'll have more games. Iwobi is having a good season and is more than capable of bullying even the better fullbacks on his day. Targett did as well as I expected him to do in a game like that in his first start in an age. Should start Sunday no question.
  7. You can see it is meant in good humour from the emojis. 100% just about the goal, you can see in some of the post match stuff Schar is ribbing Burn for costing him a goal.
  8. Can't look too much into this lot scoring 3 against Spurs and Aresnal recently. They've lost to Bournemouth, City and Palace amongst that. The Aresnal result is impressive at first glance but the goober have been really off their game in the last month and have now actually conceded MORE than Chelsea this season. If they get anything at all against us it will be one of their best results of the season.
  9. Would be great to see a Trippier -esque style early signing this summer. An experienced player coming in who shows other players considering us that we are serious about the season ahead.

    Fabian Schär

The only way I want to see him in midfield again is if it's the last game of the season and we've already secured 3rd by 10+ points and all the players can draw their positions from a hat before the game.
  11. Take him away from set pieces and this Southampton team would already be relegated. Big help if he doesn't play or is not 100% if he does.
  12. Not sure I agree with any of that actually. It was certainly hard in that first half and Everton did create some good chances on goal but as a whole it was fairly even and wasn't even close to the poor performance we put in against Villa or first half at Brentford. Even the first 15 minutes of the second half was a battle but we kept going and made sure to push them back just that little but more until we got the second goal which ultimately saw them cave in.

Other than getting outpaced by Iwobi (which would've happened to Burn as well) I think he was decent. Of all the games for him to come into, Everton away is much harsher than Southampton at home. He deserves a start on Sunday no doubt.
  14. He'll want to finish this season as top scorer. No way will he want to see Isak come in and beat him to it straight away. He's going to be fired up for these last few games.
  15. We'll never see that from the start. (Unless injuries force it).
  16. There's going to be alot of Tuesdays I'll need to book off work next season.
  17. Definitely need to get back into the habit. Would be fantastic to see Pope get the Golden Glove or whatever its called.
  18. I've said it before and others have said it plenty but I'll say it again because it's so obvious and he would suit our midfield perfectly and provide experience/depth/cover...Gundogan. The fact he's out of contract in the summer is even more of a reason to go for him, I know he's coming to the end of his career but he's definitely got another 2 seasons minimum left in him at the highest level.
  19. Liverpool will need to win every one of their remaining 6 games to get 71 points. We just need to win 4 out of 7 to get the same. There's no way for a start they will win all of them, they may go unbeaten but they will drop points (probably against Brentford and Villa) We've lost 4 games all season, we aren't going to lose the same amount again within the next 7 games. I'm not worried in the slightest that we won't make top 4 now.
  20. When you see things like that from Ruben Dias (a kick out at an opponent after the ball has gone) and he get a yellow card, you really wonder how on earth Beckham got that straight red all those years ago.
  21. If Barca want rid and the player wants to come to play football then there's no reason he wouldn't consider lower wages with performance related bonuses (goals/assists/appearances) and then everyone wins.
  22. According to Twitter, if we can achieve 13 points from the last 21 available then Howe will have the highest points total recorded by an English manager in the Premier League.

    Joelinton

I'm assuming that's all comps? I did mean just league games as I saw that we'd never had even 3 scorers with 10+ in the Premier League era.

    Joelinton

Wouldn't be surprised to see him finish on double figures as well. What's the record for most number of players at one club finishing with 10+ goals. Can't be more than 4 surely.

    Joe Willock

He's better than Gallagher, Mount and Philips. Surely gets into the next sqaud if he ends this season in the same form.
