Great start. Hope Forrest win

I think there's an argument to say we threw it away to Liverpool, mostly because they had 10 men and we missed big chances to make it 2-0. West Ham and Wolves is different, they were difficult away games and we got what we deserved from those, Wolves especially, we were poor for alot of it. There's certainly currently 4 teams who have been better than us this season so far, if maybe only because we've had such a difficult start. So where we are in the table isn't far off where we deserve to be but perhaps we should be 3 points better off for our troubles.

It's precisely what Arteta wants. Takes the focus of his underperforming players.
-
Trying to get Havertz a second yellow by kicking it at Havertz under the guise of trying to find Tripps on the far side. The fact Burn was stood behind him with another ball in his hand means the quick free kick was never going to be allowed.

I'm still thinking about that chance he missed versus Dortmund. Feels like these couple of weeks where's he's played so many more minutes is taking it's toll on him. He did alright against Aresnal but its such a shame Isak is out to help share the burden with him.
-
If youre an Aresnal fan, having a pop at VAR is kind of ridiculous. It's the ref that's made the choice to allow the goal from what's he's seen in real time. If VAR didn't exist that goal still gets given. Curse the ref, feel sad for a day or so and then just like we all did 10+ years, get on with your life and look forward to the next match.

Great timing, almost perfect, from the commentator on MOTD where he predicts its all about to boil over literally seconds before Havertz smashes Longstaffs ankle. The challenge Bruno actually got his yellow card is the least yellow card challenge of the lot. The reaction from Viera is the most frustrating reaction I see on a football pitch recently. Holding your face when you've been pushed in the shoulder/chest/neck might have worked before VAR but it's just a cunt move now when we can all see 10 seconds later that you're just being a fanny.

2 goals away from matching his entire Everton (not youth teams) career goal output. Obviously that's partly because Everton were/are shit when he played there but its clear that he's improved pretty much every aspect of his game since arriving here. Scary how good he could be next year with even better players around him and not having to track back quite so much (maybe).
-
Not sure I agree with that, Trippier was over there wagging his finger at the ref just like everyone else was. It got all the players riled up and the ref lost his head the moment he pulled that yellow card from his pocket for Havertz.
-
Bruno also does that, but Bruno is more technically adept. I've often wondered whether its intentional, not to lose the ball obviously but to hold onto the ball and draw the opposition player(s) towards them and then spring an attack. It happens so regularly where player will wriggle the ball out between to opponents and then you're suddenly on the attack and two of their midfielders are out the game.
-
He did almost the exact same you Ugarte after not winning a foul. The injustice he feels deep down when he doesn't get a free kick or loses the ball must be something otherworldly to absolutely lose his head and chase after the guy who did it just to give him a whack. Always makes the worry at the time but it's funny as afterwards.

Performance was perfect right from the moment Havertz almost broke Longstaffs ankle. Before that the game had 0-0 written all over it. Shame we had to concede so much possession after we scored but it was necessary and most of the players were shattered in those last 10 minutes. Dortmund is going to be so so tough with all the injuries we've got. Just having Botman and Isak back would be enough to see us through these couple of weeks but I'd be surprised if anyone returns from the treatment room before the International break.
-
Need to get close to them first. They way Aresnal play is affording them alot of room
-
Burns done. Get him off. He's clearly not at 100% after that injury and he's making mistakes in his challenges.
-
Was pleased to see Jorghino and Havertz in that team. Just hope that doesn't come back to bite me. A win would be extraordinary but I'd be fine with a good performance and a draw.
-
The amount of goals they've scored and conceded. This Man Utd team are about 5 places higher than they should be. Always get the shittiest wins.
-
It's hilarious how the commentary duo are now making out as if Fernandes is some hero captain. Have you guys watched the previous 90mins? They've all been dogshit.
-
So undeserved. Ridiculous stuff from the Fulham defense, just clear it you fucking muppets.
-
Everton or Fulham next please.
-
Manchester United Football Club are fucking shit.
-
Hamstring gone after 1 minute. Something been put in the water at the training ground.
-
If we somehow win this those Man Utd player need to take a long hard look at themselves and seriously consider retiring. Win win for us in a lot of ways.
-
Wow. Krafth at CB isn't what I was expecting. Hope this doesn't turn out to be too many changes to far. Losing wouldn't be the end of the world but losing BADLY to this Man U team would feel horrific.

As more than a couple of people have said, it's the kind of penalty Liverpool get given every other week almost with no comment from the media. Its soft but its a foul and would've been given as one anywhere on the pitch. If you miss your clearance and kick an opposition players it's a foul every time.
