There was about 5/6 times in that forst half where Liverpool players took a shot from about 30yrds out. The screaming from the commentary team was ridiculous.
-
I reckon that's a good bet every week. Don't tell Tonali.
-
I think you're mistaken, they are the goalscorers today.

There's no way Bruce is worse than Ashley. It's not even close. Bruce was a terrible manager, managing a terribly run club but he didnt actively attempt to kill it, he merely helped it along without any thought of what he was doing because of his ineptitude and laziness. Ashley is the king of the downfall, Bruce, Charnley, Pardew, McLaren et al were merely his pawns.

Whose the absolute donut of a journalist who asked Howe "does Tonali love the game?". How does that guy have a job. I'm not sure being a reporter should even be a paid profession if that's the type of bollocks they ask.
-
All factors coming into this would suggest the worst 0-0 the Premier League has ever seen. The weather is going to be absolutely grim and I'll be pleasantly surprised if the football on show doesn't match it. Having said that, I'm normally wrong so let's just hope we get a win.

Makes sense to leave Botman for another few days and bring him in for Dortmund. Same with Isak, assuming Wilson is fit for Palace.
-
People will always find a way to belittle or begrudge them whatever they do, out of jealousy perhaps. Look at all the players who play video games, they get laughed at for it but that's a much better hobby than gambling or partying.
-
Not with Barnes out though, we need Big Joe to cover that LW spot as well. There's a reason we got Tonali in and it's because we lacked depth in CM areas. If he's out for atleast this season then we need another CM in January 100%. Only upside of this Tonali stuff is that we might see Miley given a few more minutes here and there.
-
I thought that originally but the delay between his hearing and being given a ban is making me think its more serious and is likely to be longer than the snitch got.
-
Minimum 6 months. I'm going to imagine it's closer to 12. 9 months sounds about right.
-
I'm hoping the Tonali situation doesn't/hasnt affected the atmosphere around the squad this week. It's something that could easily have upset the rhythm, especially after a week away for some of the players. Need a good start to this, but I can see a Southampton last season at home-esque first half.
-
Perhaps it was. We don't know what the club knew when he signed here. Maybe they knew about the gambling addiction but DIDNT know about the fact he was betting on football.
-
That would certainly be up for debate. All depends on his mentality. Difficult decision will need to be made by Howe and the club if he is still available to play against Palace.
-
Because its already taken longer than his did. We heard about Fagiolis 7 month ban the same day that he came out from the investigation interview. Tonalis was over 24hrs ago and we've heard nothing yet, so you've got to assume it's not quite as cut and dry and Fagiolis.
-
Let's just hope the investigation takes a little longer than expected and he can play a few more games before its done and dusted.
-
That wasn't the case with Toney. I believe he's only just now been allowed back to train, roughly 3 months after he was found guilty.
-
The other guy got 7 months and it seems he did exactly the same. So you'd hoped it's 7 months MAX.

Anyone know what the deal is with offences committed abroad rather than in UK? UEFA will make their decision but will that only see him banned for UEFA game? Would the FA have to then make their own judgement? So could we conceivably see a ban from UEFA for 7/8 months but then a ban from FA for just 5/6 months?
-
Without a doubt he would but still less of a risk I would argue. Plus he should be able to pick up the style and tactics fairly quickly having played similar with Bielsa.
-
Philips is the obvious choice. Not only because he obviously has the ability to play our style of football and the desire to get out and play but because it'll take much less to get him integrated into the club/team/area than any player coming from abroad.
-
Can't see how it can be proved. I dare say if anyone at Milan knew it would've been through informal conversations and without any physical/digital evidence to corroborate as much.
-
Perhaps puts all the rumours about Kalvin Philips coming in January in a new light. Almost certainly will need to sign a midfielder if he gets any ban over 6 months.

Maguire does defend the front post. He goes with the player (Frattesi I think) who makes the back to front run and attempts to tackle/block him. The problem is Frattesi misses the ball completely and it falls to Scammaca who is left on his own by Stones. Stones gets dragged out too wide at the very start of this move to close down the Italy counter attack because Foden and Walker got caught high up the pitch and have only just got back. He doesn't get back into position to mark Scammaca quick enough which is ultimately why he scores a tap in. Plenty of players at fault but not Maguire.

Don't see him being involved at all against Palace. Unless ofcourse he is innocent of all accusations but that doesn't seem likely, its obvious something has occurred so I'd certainly keep him out of the spotlight for as long as possible.
