Watching this French team make you realise how much Southgate models his tactics and style on Deschamps. The difference is they play Mbappe and Thuram (and sometime Dembele as well) who can run in behind AND play neat one twos plus they have Kounde and Hernandez as full backs who provide width. I really don't see how Georgia can keep this tempo up. They're defending and attacking with such speed and aggression, they're going to burn out so quickly.

I think this England team would benefit hugely from Man City being removed from the league. Stones and Walker are so drilled in the Man City way they do nothing but pass to each other and Foden can't do anything unless it's put perfectly on a plate for him.
