About ToonAbroad

  1. International games in all continents apart from Europe. Pretty weird, UEFA didn't schedule games so most top leagues taking a break or playing a round of cup fixtures this weekend.
  2. Holy shit. Can't believe anybody was doubting footballinsider247. Come onnnn.
  3. Medical today sounds way too good to be true, refusing to believe until a regular source confirms it. Would also be a huge boost to attracting other players before the end of the window though if this somehow does get done in the next day or 2.
  4. There was some hinting yesterday at a bigger 'surprise' signing. Assuming it wasn't complete bollocks, could be this. The offer was made last night apparently and was kept quiet all day, so who knows.
  5. Absolutely inevitable that after finally getting a bid accepted (if true), the player will decide not to move. Too used to the disappointments of the last two weeks now .
  6. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10438381/Sevilla-tell-Newcastle-pay-40m-land-defender-Diego-Carlos.html 40m now
  7. "Newcastle confident on completing the signing..." has become fairly meaningless this month unfortunately. Won't get excited about anybody until they're at least doing a medical now...
  8. Absolutely, should be even more critical now if Joelinton is out for any length of time.
  9. Isn't a tip-off by a player's agent the definition of an insider scoop?
  10. He broke the news of our last signing to be fair.
  11. Included in there is that apparently Lingard and Bakker are the two deals closest to be happening next week. And that there is indeed an interest in Dele Alli (though I'd presume that's instead of Lingard, not as well as). Senesi & Badiashile also apparently backups if Carlos does not join. Fun week ahead.
  12. This - if he's looking for a big contract this summer, then his performances over the next 3-4 months will play a big role in determining how much he could demand.
  13. If you're paying the 10m for a loan fee, you might as well pay the same to make it permanent and just give him a relegation clause for the same fee. Needs must.
  14. Pretty good summary from Ornstein this morning -
