Thinks most of us thought we were an elite team after this summers recruitment, pre-season and first game against Villa.

Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 Newcastle United (02/09/23)

Watched the game again. I dont think we can blame any single player, because all of them were shit(except Wilson). Must be something going on with the athmosphere at the club atm. -
He should just hoof it every time an easy pass is not an option. Not worth trying to train him up to do anything else. Going have to wait for an upgrade.
-
He was surrounded by a couple of Brighton players, think that was the reason for being hesitant about selling himself going for the block. Looking at the rest of his game I think it’s safe to say it’s not about giving a shit atleast.

Agree, but calling these under par performances is an over par understatement.

Kieran Trippier: to join Wolves on a free (various)

Dont remember seeing him at all today other then set pieces and giving the ball away in our penalty area. -
Football is about getting chances to score goals, not maintaining possesion.

One or two, but they may not even be newcastle fans for all we know. They dont mean anything.
-
Every fanbase overreacts after a run like this.
-
I want to change my player of the season vote. Jesus we look awful without him.
-
Afraid other teams have started to figure him out. Under pressure he offers very little in our attacking play and is a liability defensively. Hopefully its just him being out of form, but its been going on for a long time now.
-
I was so ready to sing his praises again after that first pass to Isak.
-
No where near calling for him to be sacked, but his unwillingness to rotate clearly out of form players is unironicly worrying.

I mean one thing is to be nonchalant in our own half, another in our penalty area.. -

Don’t think this is an individual player thing. Our whole team look clueless. Bringing on Longstaff won’t change that. Had two periods last season like this aswell, hopefully we snap out of it after the break. -
Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

How would I as a foreigner go about getting two tickets to one of the home games? Not going to haggle over price of tickets/hospitality to put it like that. -

Making a statement in this group would work wonders for expanding our fanbase outside of England. -

Nah hardest would be Bayern and Real Madrid. Seems like a group of very even teams tbh. Dont rank PSG that highly. Every match is going to be awesome.
