  1. We had, but clearly lost his touch considering the developement of most of our players this season. Think he needs another break and I don't think he will get a sufficient one in the summer. Going to be another stressful one with a lot of incoming and outgoing players. Hope I'm wrong if he ends up staying.
  2. It's another game where we have had time on the training pitch and still look poor going forward. The excuses are running out.
  3. You want to keep him until his overall record is below what we could have expected? It's getting clearer by each game that he doesn't have a clue how to get us back on track. Better call it a day now and let him be remembered for what he achieved with us and not how his career here ended, which might very well be the case if we end up with another dissapointing season.
  4. Arsenal had 1w 1d 4l with only 4 goals scored in their last 6 games before this one. Sure they are at the top of the league, but clearly not in that great shape atm.
  5. Were we playing any good football?
  6. We always start the games fine. It's keeping it up and reacting to the game developement that's been the issue.
  7. Most likely not, but you can't just disregard it when it comes down to so few games. More crazy shit than that has happened before. Only a few games ago people said there were no chance that spurs would go down.
  8. Murphy, Osula and Willock as our attacking outlets after spending £700m of whatever it is. Wtf has happened. Doesn't end there i see, Burn back at LB
  9. Seems like pretty winable all of them though? If spurs suddenly starts to gain some confidence. Chelsea and Villa for sure isn't something to fear atm.
  10. If we lose the next two and Spurs wins next weekend it's definitely starting to look at bit scary.
  11. Guess it depends on who will bring in his replacement. If it's a new manager he will surely have identified this weakness in our team. And Gordon can't really take someone one if he doesn't have space to run.

    Yoane Wissa

I'm starting to think that you can't really judge Wissa, Woltemade, Elanga etc on what they have achieved this season. Most of our players look clueless and without confidence. Surely not easy to build confidence and rhytm coming into a team that has none.
  13. I was thinking that myself before we had a 3 weeks break now and still don't look any better at all coming out of it. A summer reset may certainly change things, but i for sure don't take it for granted anymore.
  14. Nah, it's just the truth. We beat Bradford, Spurs and Fulham all at home to get there. Didn't watch the first two, but we certainly weren't impressive against Fulham. And in the Semi-final itself we were really poor. Very average overall.
  15. Nah, but that has more to do with Spurs than us
  16. Not that impressed with our cup runs this season tbh. Some good games, but nothing special.
  17. It would still be us only getting 54 points and looking very poor for the majority of the season, no matter if we ended up with 6th/7th through a fluke. When judging our performance over a season i look more at the points we achieved rather than league placement. Eddie shouldn't be judged on how other teams performed.
  18. Right, sorry. (A bit hungover) Would still be a poor season from my perspective.
  19. Winning 4 wouldn't be enough, too many teams with too many points ahead of us. Some of them are going to win a few aswell.
  20. Easy. When it's one or two players underperforming you blame the players, when it's most of the team you blame the manager.
  21. Eddie's overall stats are still great and if he would leave now his time here will without a doubt be considered a huge success. But how much weight should we give his past achievements when we are now clearly heading in the wrong direction with little to suggest that Eddie knows how to get us out of the mess?
  22. We have for the most part looked poor/boring for the last 3 seasons tbh. Other than a couple of winning streaks the signs have been there for quite a while, this isn't just an outlier season. The outliers have been the winning streaks.
  23. We only ever look good when we play with intensity tbf
  24. That’s why I said «if»
  25. If he truly feels he has the energy, I’m fine with him getting the chance to turn it around next season. I don’t think he has been found out or anything like that, just don’t think that his playstyle, mentality and his reluctance to rotate key players works well with a two games a week schedule.
