  1. Just happy that Villa didnt win for my part. Draw or City win would both have been good.
  2. Thats probably Villa out of the competition then.
  3. De Bruyne is on the decline, Rodri and Haaland is injured, Foden out of form. They were all their best players last season.
  4. Wasnt it our sporting director who said we had funds available? We are getting rid of a season with a very high deficit now. Ofcourse the amount of funds would be alot better with CL.
  5. Pretty sure we can add to our squad even without CL.
  6. Doubt that they can keep the squad if they dont make CL.
  7. Again you are cutting of the results at a point where its convenient for your argument, include the game before and you will get the same 50% win ratio im talking about. Im not saying that City are in bad form or that I dont think that they will make it into top 5. Im saying that its far from certain that they will win the rest of their games other than Villa. They havent shown that kind of dominance at all. Infact I think its more likely than not that they wont do it. So if they were to draw against Villa it would leave us in a good position to finish ahead of them, which might be needed in certain scenarios. I still probably would prefer City to win though, as it would leave it much more up us getting a good result vs Chelsea. Which I think is very achievable. But a draw has its upsides aswell.
  8. You are arguing against yourself since you are relying on results from January to make City look they are in such a good form. Over the last couple of months they havent looked like a team that are dominating their games, and the results show the same.
  9. Forest are going to stumble over the line.
  10. Villa loss would mean that we can afford to lose against Arsenal and draw against Chelsea. Assuming Chelsea dont win the rest.
  11. I really dont see why their January results should be so much more relevant than their December results. Whether you count the games from March, February, December or the start of the season they will all show that they won half of their games. Its only when you start from January they will have good stats. Its you I would say that are focusing too much on that particular period.
  12. They dont need to lose to drop points, draws works just fine which they have had several of vs average teams. They are were they are at the table for a reason. In their last 10 games they have won half of them, which is pretty much their average for the season in a whole. Dont really see anything that suggest that they are certain to win their last 4.
  13. Wouldnt mind a draw in City vs Villa. Dont take it at all for granted that City will finish their season better than them. Wolves are on a very good run with 5 wins in a row. Fulham and Bournemouth will both probably be fighting for a spot in Europe and are very good teams at their best. City themselves have looked far from impressive. So them sharing 2 points instead of 3 seems good to me. Especially if Forest wins today and we maybe have to stay ahead of both.
  14. If Forest wins today they will surely have a very good chance. Mild schedule and on top of the bunch with 5 games left.
  15. Personally think our schedule isnt bad at all. Ipswich (H) One of the easiest you can get. Brighton (A) In very poor form and doesnt have Pedro for this game. Chelsea (H) Not looking great and are playing the semi final in the conferance league semi-final 3 days before our game. 8pm Thursday and 12pm Sunday. Thats not a lot of rest, we just saw how that worked out for us. Arsenal (A) We do seem to have their number and they will maybe have secured the 2nd place and have their head focused on the CL final. But hopefully we dont need anything here. Everton (H) Tarkowski out injured. Should be able to get a win here if needed. Last game of the season and the fans will be pushing the players on.
  16. Will atleast get £1100 out of my misery if Forest also wins.
  17. Draw isnt to bad. Still wont be enough for them.
  18. Spurs and Man Utd will sadly be free wins for Villa.
  19. Yeah I dont think Villa is overhyped at all. They had alot of poor results understably after their CL games before they filled out their squad in January. Would have been more scared of them if they were at equal points/GD as City.
  20. Can we say that Chelsea is out of it if they lose today? Atleast regarding catching us.

    Will Osula

Yeah doesnt remind me much of the Hall situation. By the end of the season he was playing regulary and was one of our best iirc.
  22. Going to be a much more nervewrecking end to the season that I hoped for. Still in a great position though. With Pedro and Tarkowski out we should be favorites against Ipswich, Brighton and Everton. Hard to know which team will turn for Arsenal and Chelsea, but we should be able to pick up some points there aswell.
  23. Prepared for worst case scenario myself 🤣
