The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Checked the previous seasons where a team secured the title a few games before the season ended. The overall picture was a slight drop off in form, but none of them had a negative win/loss ratio. -
Like I said, I dont think we have to spend big to replace their quality. With the way PSR works it could easily be financed by what we would get for them in the short term. You might have a point about not overdoing the squad turnover. We seem to be doing a good job integrating new players into our squad, might not want to push it though. Dont really think the team morale would get hit by letting them go, surely the team is aware of how things have to go going forward.
-
Why not? Not like their performances lately will be hard to replace

Nothing would be better than getting Willock back to his best. Its been quite a while now though. For me he has these 4 last games to show some glimpses of his old self. If he doesnt I would let him go in the summer. Should be able to get a decent fee.

They also won 3 in their last 9 in PL. If we win our last 4 we got a very decent chance of getting 2nd. -

Have anyone checked up the stats of the results after someone secured the title in previous seasons? My guess is that we wouldn’t see a sudden drop off in form as the standard. -

I have no doubt that Liverpool will want to finish he season on a strong note.Them having the pressure off their back could also turn into a positive thing. -
His transfer fee wouldnt be the expensive part like.

Who the fuck decided to have the final before the ending of domestic seasons? -

But it isnt enough to just bet on Forest, need to place a bet on Villa aswell to be safe. So no double money. Need to wait for better odds on Villa and Forest for such a bet to make sense imo. The odds for Newcastle is kinda irrelevant. -
Wissa would be a too expensive signing for a backup with limited resale value. Even on free transfer. Rather get a young talent.

Only Villa gives good returns, and they dont have to make it for us not to make it either. -

How? Placing your money on City, Chelsea and Forest wont give huge profit exactly. -

Win our home games and draw one of the away games and we are mathematically safe(assuming Forest and Villa doesnt catch up with our GD). -
They havent deserved it imo.

Its going to be an awful season for either Spurs or Man Utd, focus on that
-
Actually think they are limited by FFP atm. So qualifying for the CL would increase their budget by alot just as it would for us. If not more since they get more money out of CL than us. Would also make them alot more attactive for incoming players.
-
The potential of Man Utd is far larger than that of Spurs. Hope to keep then down in the mud for as long time as possible.
-
Should get away with selling him for £25m. Still young with lots of experience in the PL and has shown high potential previously. Doesnt seem that out of order. Not that I think its his fair value personally.
-
Sure, but where else is going to get a contract like he could get there. Could be set for life. Probably not many other that would take a chance on giving him a long term high paying contract atm. But if he doesnt want to go then he doesnt want to go.
