1 G+A(non-penalties) per game is fantastic no doubt, but i also do feel like without them he doesnt provide that much. Still, I would give the player of the season to him most likely. Slot on the other hand wins the Premier League with +-15 points in his first season without buying anything noteworthy. To me there is no question who deserves manager of the year when we are only looking at the Premier League.

Yeah I dont really rate Liverpools squad that highly, and I think Salah himself is also a little overrated. Probably deserves player of the season, but I dont think its as obvious as many do. Non-penalty goals+assist is very good, but not that insane. Keep in mind that the point difference from Liverpool to us is the same as from us to Crystal Palace.

Yeah its so silly, chances for that to happen according to the bookies atleast are going to be like 10-20%. Just placed a bet on Chelsea+Villa this friday where i will almost double my money if they both win. And those two games are by far easier than the two after.

Not sure what «Not many of them even exist» mean. What I mean by it is just one of the best in the world in the position. We are in a position to go for it. Maybe not one of the top 5s, but a tier below.

World class CM would be my priority too along with RW and CB. Joelinton is awesome, but can’t really rely on him when it comes to injuries and consistent performances. Bruno also have some periods where I’ve felt he could have had use for some competition for his place tbh.

Gordon and Barnes is a perfect combo for our LW cover for me. Different types for different situations. If we sell Barnes we are going to need a new LW anyways, so it doesn’t get us far.

It point gives us something, but very little compared to what a win gives us. So yeah I for sure think its worth the risk. Not saying we should send the keeper up on a corner in extra time like.

Still dont see what a point gives us. If Villa or Chelsea slip up with a draw we only need to get a draw vs Everton ourselves. A win vs Arsenal on the other hand secures CL and gets us in the prime position for 2nd. Cant see us not going for it.

Hard to see that one point does anything for us, only in very particular scenarios We still would need to win vs Everton.

No I havent been watching him like a hawk, I have watched a couple of Man United games though. And in everyone of them your team got ran all over in the midfield.

We arent talking about who has had the best career here or even who has had the best season overall, but team of the year in the PL. I think Bruno Fernandes is a very good and underrated player, but he isnt getting into team of the season in the PL this year.

Replacing our best player with a non-scoring striker might hurt as bit, sure. Losing him to Arsenal for £150m woundn't be the end of the world. The money would go straight back into the team, giving us a more balanced squad.

Cant include a guy who is captain(?) for a team with under 40 points.

Well Aston Villa playing away to a top 12 side isnt a guaranteed win like. They have a pretty average away form this season.

I think we also need to get rid of a couple and replace them.
