Still boggles my mind that we spent 40m on a talented winger where we already had more than enough cover, and not a penny on cover for Bruno.
-
He needs to move in more sentral atleast. Played way to wide today with 2 Arsenal players always on him.
-
Only difference today is a longshot that goes between a defenders legs and an own goal. Nothing wrong with the formation or missing any players. Two hits in the post and multiple good saves by Ramsdale.
-
Especially when Bruno is not on top of his game.
-
Other than Bruno doing nothing right I think we did ok. Arsenal showed up today. We still got this.
-
Good thing we didnt buy a sentral midfielder this January. Bruno needs a rest bigtime
-
Hasnt been that good for a couple of months tbh.
-
What a game!

Need to find a better use of Isak this game. Murphy off at HT.
-
Not rubbish, but plays way to risky for a dm.
-
Yeah not a pen sadly

I dont see whats so brave about it. Isak tracks back if he plays on the wing, he will also have a very defensive focused left back behind him. -

So weird this reluctency of starting our two most in form players on here. -

Well Arsenal aren’t all that lately and if they win that it won’t be the city we know with Haaland and De Breune they face. It won’t matter though, because we will crush them like we will crush Arsenal this weekend. -

If Brighton win against Arsenal then City will already have the title by the time they play them. With champions league and FA cup final on the horizon they may very well rest all their first time against Brighton then. If Newcastle were to drop out of top 4 that has to include a loss or a draw against Brighton anyway. Very unlikely they will make it, but I would not rule it out. -

Plan B would be to sub out Wilson for Murphy/Almiron/Gordon then let Isak get the centre forward role. Not starting our best players so that we have the option to put them on sounds strange to me. I get that the rotations have worked out lately, but against Arsenal we should put out our a team from the get-go. -

Cant believe how many on here are willing to let one of our top 5 players go just because of a couple of injuries this year. He played 35 premier league games last year and has been available for 20/33 games this year despite 2 injuries. Players like him dont grow on trees and he has shown he is willing to adapt to Howes playing style. I would like to think that we now have a competent backroom staff that can help him reduce the number of injuries in the future. His market price is also lowered atm because of recent injuries. -

Need to play both Wilson and Isak. Dont see any reason not too. Will be getting a weeks rest now and neither has played the full 90 mins in previous matches. Both are in world class form and have previously shown that they compliment eachother well. -

Remember that Southampton vs Liverpool will be Southamptons last home game in the premier league for the time being. They are going to give their best without having any pressure on them. -
Gotta be honest. Tottenham should have had a red in the first half aswell. Guess they didnt bother since it looked like Liverpool were clearly winning anyways, and they didnt want to ruin Spurs chance to get into Europe league.
