I'd take 5th aswell, but still hold us as clear favorites to get 3rd. -
Newcastle United vs. Crystal Palace: 16/04/25 @ 19:30 (Sky Sports)

Well that table kinda proves his point Only Liverpool has had significant more points per game. -
Also cant see Eddie managing to stay away completely during the run-in, not just that type of a guy. Do believe he hasnt been much in contact during his stay at the hospital rhough.

If Spurs drop out of Europa and gets a new manager bounce they only have 1 easy game tbh. -

Is it Forest or Chelsea you are so sure will get a CL place? Win against Palace and i count us as favorites vs them for a CL place regardless of if we lose against Villa. -
Yeah Villa probably wasnt broken by this. Thats going to be our job this weekend
-
Ye got subbed out right after my post lol.
-
About time to score now Villa..
-
Rogers and Tielemans.
-
Yes it will. Squad depth doesnt help their best players that will play both the full games.
-
To early for Villa to score, cant risk them winning without playing ET.
-
Forget about the next game Villa, give it all!
-
Villa havent given up yet have they? Need them to come out of this demoralized and tired.

Im down for another Gambler's fallacy discussion. -
If we base it on this season alone then yes, hell yeah. Rumour has it that he was pretty beloved at Milan to. A tough start with us, but that was probably because of certain reasons.
-
I wouldn’t drop them and I wouldn’t sub them out either in a game that was still in play. Don’t get me wrong, having Botman back is fantastic news. But for me that’s mostly because we would have been fucked if Schär or Burn got injured. *Might consider a 5 man defence to see out a game though.

It all depends on injuries, we have been very lucky so far the last couple of months. Let’s just hope it continues. Dont think the players will have to many problems coping with the remaining schedule. Other than this week the rest of the games I just 1 game per week. -
I remember him having a few dodgy moments when he first came back, didn’t take long for him to catch up though, I agree with that. Our CB pairing has been working out pretty well lately so I just don’t see the point of taking the chance unless we already have the game in the bag.
-
Because qualifying for CL is that important. If he is a professional Botman will understand that and not let it demotivate him. There is not enough games left to justify letting him get up to speed.

Not out of the realm of possibilities that one of them could catch either Villa or Chelsea if they collapse. But certainly not going to catch us. -
Sorry but we can’t consider his feelings now. Stays on the bench during the run-in unless we already got the game in the bag for me.
-
Both of them have really tough games and no realistic chance to catch us.
-
Even if Eddie can’t join us on match days for some time, I’m sure he will be having some input in between games. Anyone has any experience how pneumonia affects you mentally?
-
Get it like, focusing on Man Utd being shit is satisfying as fuck
