Selling high potential players who will go for a discount because of their current out of form/injurie record doesnt sound like a good idea to me either. If we can get something close to what i believe is his true value i might be willing to let him go. I do understand that he may not be the most optimal player for Eddie Howe, but i think ASM has shown that he is willing to adapt the best he can. He also seems to enjoy it here and makes an effort to maintain a good relationship with the fans. Would be a little cruel to let him go now that he has the chance to prove himself in the Champions League after being our most important player for so many years when we were shit.

Im just saying we dont need to sell this year. Going forward we ofcourse need some additional income if were going to keep up the same incoming activity. But right now we only have Bruno, Isak, Botman and Gordon who depreciate substantially in FFP value, so we shouldn't have any problems with FFP right now with the extra CL revenue.

Us getting Champions League should completely negate the arguement that we need to sell players to help us with FFP. The 50-60m from CL and increased commercial revenue allows us to spend an extra 250-300m this summer and still not be in breach with FFP the first year. Not that we should go bananas like that, but my point is that FFP is not going to hold us back for now.

I hear alot of pundits thinks Gary O'Neil should get manager of the year. I know he didnt have the best starting point, but you dont give manager of the year to someone who has lost 50% of his games and got a -19 goal difference.

Guardiola can get european manager of the year, Howe deserves the premier league one. Emery could have given him competition if he had the same results for a full season.

Dont get the hate he gets on here. Yeah he has a troubled personality, but he didnt do much wrong when playing for us. For me i will always be thankful for the hard work he put in to keep us up last year.

Getting the chance to secure it ourselves at St.James Park with only a draw is pretty pretty good.

I know selling players would help us with ffp right now, but it would also come back to bite us in the ass in the years ahead when the incoming players are still depreciating in ffp value. Really dont want to risk team morale so I think we should only sell our regulars this season if they either want to go, we get a very good offer or we have a really good signing lined up that requires some funds to get by ffp. I also only want 2 big players coming so we dont mess with our team morale too much, another 3-4 young talents to boost the squad for Europe.

Seems to have everything you want from an attacking midfielder. His biggest strength must be his shooting and creative/precise passing. But also has excellent technique and reminds me a little of Joelinton with his ability to drive forward with good pace while maintaining control of the ball. Gives Trippier some much needed competition of set pieces. Just some youtube scouting though

How fast we forget how awesome player he is. When he get his confidence back in front of goal, he is simply the perfect player for Eddie Howe.
