I thought that in the second half we played ok, without threatening much. But think some of that is Brentford eased back. we used to be high press monsters, but that football is not sustainable without a deep squad. I think it’s part of the reason you see some teams doing well, then falling off a cliff, high press football puts a lot of pressure on your players and eventually they break. Eddie has tried to change our play style this season but it’s abundantly obvious we don’t have the players to play a better brand of football as our passing and ability under pressure is terrible.

We pissed £200+ million down the drain on players that’s will never meet the grade.

Even the most positive fan will struggle to explain a way out of this. Brentford deserved that we were utter shite.
