  1. Arsenal are very lucky to be only 1 down here
  2. Colonel mustard with the lead pipe for Arsenal tonight
  3. Arsenal can’t touch their midfield right now
  4. I don’t agree with this, you just end up risking playing 2 weaker positions rather than 1. Burn has played all season at LB he should stay there.
  5. Just a deeply insecure fanbase for the most part imo, much like the mackems.
  6. I think this will be far edgier than what we’ve been used to lately, but we probably win here. Hopefully it’s the last we see of these for a while.
  7. I think our summer spend will be similar to last summers numbers with maybe +1 on total players brought in. Around £150m total spend on fees. Steady, consistent progress in building Howes ideal squad. Management will not want a massive increase in numbers, we will continue to follow the trend we have seen so far imo.. CL or no CL.
  8. Also mad to think that Rafa signed him SIX years ago..
  9. Useful player to have around, he’s a very good fit physically for this systems wide positions and he can come in and do what’s expected anytime he’s needed. Never going to be technically elite or consistently have the composure to cut inside and crack a defence open with one pass/finish clinically but every now and again he’ll bang in a screamer like today.. the goals clearly meant a lot to him. Happy to see him do well.
  10. Get the feeling this one will be an edgy, grindy game. They will be fighting for their lives at this stage, still we should be favourites here.
  11. People writing this guy off so early, have you not been paying attention to how players have exceeded expectations under the current management? He’s had cameos and brief minutes so far, with an actual run in the team we can judge fairly. Shame that won’t be happening anytime soon as we are performing well enough that he won’t be taking anyones place, an injury or suspension might give him a chance soon.
  12. A freak result again, much like the West Ham game we took advantage of the circumstances and put a disjointed team to the fucking sword. In the long run todays performance (on the pitch) isn’t very significant but short term it’ll give certain players a boost. Onto Everton.
  13. Defo tweaked something there, looks minor though
  14. Clearly the message at half time was step off when we can and conserve ourselves for the midweek game. This games done.
  15. Seems like him and Burn are the scapegoats recently. Sometimes Willock or Murphy as well, it’s sad.
  16. I have no idea, you’d have to ask someone else
  17. Without trying to get my tongue to far up, you were really good today. Really exploited us in midfield and made it count. Fair play and enjoy it.
  18. The better team won today, some of the emotional outburst will be aimed towards Burn but the reality is NO ONE played well today. They dominated the midfield from the first minute and that’s okay, they are a good side now under Emery. Onto the next.
