I just hope Howe plays a key role in who comes in - I know that in the modern game, DoF (or whatever their title) fulfil that role, but Howe’s signings have been incredibly successful - Brian Clough once talked about transfer policy being about successes outweighing failures. I can’t imagine that there are many managers with Howe’s ‘hit rate’ re successes - I can only really think of Targett’s permanent move (he was a success on loan) as being a definite ‘miss’ to date.

We’ve all done it a on a Sunday afternoon - though I admit that my run arounds at RB for the likes of Stocksfield may not be totally comparable to playing RB in the PL
-
He did indeed not sure he’d make today mind, though that man was a sublime talent
-
Yeah, I agree. The usual Howe blitz early on, get a goal and I reckon we cruise to a win - but it’ll get anxious if it’s 0-0 at HT
-
I’m oddly less confident about Everton at home than Arsenal away. Everton at home is exactly the sort of fixture we’ve struggled with over the last couple of years - midtable sides coming to SJP to spoil and sit off.
-
There’s a lot of steps in there before that can happen

Incredible that some bloke down the pub knows that England international Kieran Trippier is on a 24/7 Keith Richards-style piss-up, yet the tabloid hacks just can’t get anything on him in that regard.
-
Fucking hell that’s ridiculous
-
I still found it amazing that the bookies thought Villa had a difficult run-in
-
I also remember when we used to sneer at Italian football for this type of shite - teams effectively throwing games and not trying I’m going to go all Brexity here, but this is one of the massive drawbacks to English football becoming more ‘international’ over the last few decades

I call us United from time to time tbf. I support Newcastle United last I checked, not Newcastle -
It’s about sporting integrity - something their gobshite PFM manager has got previous of banging on about. The man is a charlatan.
-
I want them to win three. Fuck Spurs - at least Man Utd are playing a proper XI here
-
I’m watching Chelsea instead, because I think that’s a given. Can’t see Villa not winning it. Hope I’m wrong.
-
I hope Man Utd knack these in the UEFA Cup final. At least Man Utd started a proper XI
-
Villa especially for me - they’re far more dangerous to our position and prospects
-
Every time I see them I wonder how the fuck they’re still in contention
-
Looks offside
-
Get in there
-
Southampton and Leicester took points off Man City and Forest last time out Incredibly though, Spurs and Man Utd are shitter than them, regardless of points tallies
-
They needed a sewper dewper compewter
-
Not only is it deeply pathetic considering it was a second division playoff semi, the silly cunt has an apostrophe after the time. I think he’s thinking of a stop watch, but ‘ denotes mins and ‘’ denotes seconds. They really are thick as fuck.
-
The trophy win doesn’t come into it - it’s PL only The LMA Manager of the Year does include all the cups
-
Daft that votes open before the season ends. Espirito-Santo is the obvious choice should Forest qualify for the CL - thought Slot will probably win
