Folks talk about this like it’s obvious, when it isn’t even clearly if it is structurally possible - and my educated guess is that it isn’t unless Nexus are happy for NUFC to grout SJ Metro station

I think you’d struggle to put together a ten second tik tok video, Edward

I don’t think they ever intended to spend billions in any case - KSA isn’t Abu Dhabi or Qatar. They almost certainly would’ve spent more than they have without the constraints of PSR, but given that they haven’t even maximised what they can do in the current set-up I seriously doubt they would have thrown serious wedge at it. Why would they even have needed co-investors in the first place?

Merry Xmas lads and lasses

I can’t think of a major club which hasn’t poured significant sums into their training and academy facilities. I’ve no issue with PIF and the Reubens not wanting to spend their money, as long as they stop talking shite about ‘being no.1’. Just a bit of honesty would be appreciated.

(Re Fosters) ‘but Australians themselves rarely drink it, preferring their own craft breweries and proper lagers’. Patently untrue - no-one drink Fosters, but most drink Carlton Draught or VB. Love it when posh pretentious cunts talk absolute bollocks, mind. Lots and lots of ‘fooled British drinkers’ (i.e. the plebs). I also love it when folks go on about mass produced craft beer like it’s made out of rainbows and pixie tears; instead of just being more chemical pish to get you drunk and rot the insides.

As much as I wouldn’t want to contradict one of the great thinkers of football, but Redknapp was patently, obviously wrong on that front.

That is Tonali’s position - he’s never looked much cop further forward.

I certainly think he’s got a fucking cheek it he’s asking for an improved contract.

In fact - fuck it. Isak’s winner sits second only to the below in my lifetime - and unlike his winner, I was there (you can see my blonde mop in the Gallowgate if you know where to look). Yes, he acted the cunt - but if you’re my age and you’re spending your days wasting your time on him, then you’re daft. I’ve no issue with being upset with the lad, but he’s not even at the David Speedie level of hatred to me. If Isak is up there for you, you’ve experienced fuck all when it comes the worst experiences possible. We used to hate Cambridge fucking United lads.

I think I’m just as pleased that this thread won’t get bumped for a few months. As much as I don’t like what the cunt did, I can’t be chewed with pissing on the memory of the happiest day following this club I’ve had in nearly four decades - most of which has been filled with disappointment, irritation or embarrassment. Isak still scored the winner in the first trophy win I’ve ever seen, something which I’d given up hoping for. I never thought I’d see it as a kid; under KK, there was hope - but even then we pissed that away (and if the old lads who were on the coach back from from Forest in 95/96 are reading this - no, we didn’t fucking win it next year, regardless of you trying to give a young knacker like me hope. Probably not your fault though - and thank you for the rum-infused tea that you gave me 😁). We’ve had plenty of players through the years fuck off for a better deal elsewhere - including local lads - who’ve been forgiven far quicker.

I thought it was more frightening that a fresh Elanga couldn’t scamper away from Cucarella despite the centre half having played the full 90. I think any of our wingers can do precisely what he did there. It was shit play at the end of it, too.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

Wasn’t really such a thing as a ‘high press’ back then - he’d shit himself from a goal kick. We’ve never been blessed by a genuinely great keeper is the truth of it -
Manchester United vs. Newcastle United: 26/12/25 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

The memory of being in the away end when Solksjaer pulled down Rob Lee still boils my piss tbh. -
I think that this is spot-on, but it’s also the case that his work rate has taken a significant drop of late and the lad seems to have an obvious attitude problem. At the very least, he has a propensity to talk like a right weapon.
-
I’m still convinced that he is a centre forward, but it’s all about playing to his strengths. Gordon and Murphy both had good games, and fed him well. The quality he has is obvious - I just want to see more performances from the wingers like we saw vs Chelsea

Given’s goal kicks were the absolute pits. He’d find touch like a fly half gaining yards for a line-out in Rugby Union. -

I always like Krul mind, somehow he never kicked on from what he was at 22. For a while no-one could convince me that he wasn’t a Schmeichel regen.
