  1. I think it is when you consider the person in charge of commercial has made several complete fuck ups since taking over, He's a Director on the board not some novice who's made an error of judgement on one occasion.
  2. Mixed. I think we will give you a decent game, I just hope our young lads don't either lose their heads or just completely shit themselves. The atmosphere will be heightened, Alot of people are frustrated and angry, but that will hopefully channelled in making the ground as hostile as possible. Fans don't have an issue with the players, they've gave us a decent few seasons since promotion from L1 and they're all a committed bunch. First goal crucial, Still expect you to have too much quality but you never know.
  3. It just shows how out of touch some people are that are involved in running football clubs. Judging by KLDs statement, He's put people in position and has trusted them and they've royally fucked up. Saying that, Steve Davidson who has been there for yonks has made catalogue after catalogue of errors. Only way Dreyfus can salvage any form of credibility here is to ensure whoever's been involved is sacked by this time next week.
  4. Shameful, Whoever let this happen should and hopefully, will be, sacked. We are an absolute shambles commercially off the field.
  5. Id rather Trippier plays against us than Livramento, fancy Clarke to have a go at Trippier with his current form / state whereas Livranemto would nullify him with his pace.
  6. You will win, but it might be closer than I originally thought.
  7. True. We should give you a good game and provided we don't concede early and implode it might be tight, but I would expect the extra quality to shine through in the end.
  8. Yep and it worked in difficult circumstances, inherited a team just promoted from League One and managed to get them comfortably a Championship side and ended up in the play offs. He was never long term and was a stop gap which allowed development of the younger players playing to a certain brand of football they want in a higher league. As mentioned previously they had Farioli lined up in the summer (Mowbray knew about it) but they gave him this season on the back of last years success. They've triggered him because they want someone better.
  9. It's almost like they believe the manager is underperforming with what he has available and they have sacked him.
  10. You can refute it for the sake of it, but the truth is that's it's working since it's been introduced.
  11. Good job we are using it well then, so far.
  12. Can't say I have followed a Ukranian Premier Division, Spanish second division or Portuguese B side. None have had enough minutes for anyone to make a calculated opinion, Rusyn and Mayenda look sharp but we haven't give them anything to work with. Your 4 Sunderland SC holder work mates clearly haven't listened to the repetitive message that's been fed out by the club for two years that we use data to make our signings, no player is going to come in as the finished article. They are going to be disappointed if they expect the club to buy two experienced strikers we already have four and play one upfront.
  13. You haven't got a clue what you are talking about man, 3 out of the 4 strikers we have haven't been fit and have a collective total of around 4 starts between them. As for your second paragraph, Have a word with yourself, idiot.
  14. Oh because OverThere hasn't heard of them, it means they are shite.
  15. So we didn't fail to get a striker in, We have four and we had a manager who hasn't been getting the best out of any of them.
  16. I trust them, They've earned it. They want promotion, How easy is it? Probably very difficult but they are sticking to their plan and thats all you can ask.
  17. He said prior to the Millwall game that 'the foreign lads sometimes don't understand him', - He says shite like this all the time without seemingly doing anything to remediate it.
  18. Failed to get a striker in? We've signed 4.
  19. We are a decent striker away from competing at the higher end and our football is good, but he also has 10 points from 11 games. His in-game tactical decisions are shite, None of his subs ever impact games and we massively struggle to adapt unless Plan A is going well. We are also easy to play against and concede shit, sloppy goals every week. There's better managers out there than Mowbray, We just need to get one.
  20. Agreed. I think they wanted shot in the summer but performances and then his behaviour this season has been odd to say the least. Some of his recent press conferences have been mental to say the least.
  21. Right timing for me, If he stayed we would just be solidifying another season in the Championship and not threatening the playoffs. The form and performances have dipped off a cliff and he is never going to be the long term answer. We are relatively safe this season from any threat of relegation so why not take a punt on a manager that could put a run together and fits in with your 'longer term' vision. I think it looks harsher than what it is because he's one of only a select few managers that have left after doing a decent job. Have to trust the recruitment team and owner, They haven't got a lot wrong since taking full control.
  22. We need to sell to reinvest and we are growing players to be sellable assets, Football is mental now whereby you can get 30 million for a promising youngster which then totally transforms how you can operate in the window. Regardless of the fact we haven't made a huge sale yet to be able to massively reinvest, The team we have is better than 9th with 10 points from 11 games. Mowbray was never the long term appointment, He was a stop gap to stabalise and he's done exactly that. I would much prefer the club being proactive than reactive.
  23. We've sold Stewart for 10 million and he hadn't kicked a ball for nearly a year, He's now fucked again at Southampton. Apart from him, Who have we sold? It's a myth we haven't spent money. We don't have parachute money to chuck 10s of millions at people, But we have spent money.
  24. Good decision in my opinion, About time we were ruthless instead of just plodding along hoping something changes. Mowbray undoubtedly did a good job on the whole, Had us playing some lovely football but the chances of a Mowbray team getting promoted are slim. Rumours are the board wanted shot in the summer but they kept him on due to the performances last season. We had Farioli lined up and backtracked, He's got Nice absolutely flying. He was never a long term appointment, He was a stop gap for stability and to allow younger players to flourish. He's done that and it's all gone a bit stale, Obviously it's a gamble but it's one the owners think is worth taking in the next 'phase' of building the club back up.
