Good job we are using it well then, so far.

Can't say I have followed a Ukranian Premier Division, Spanish second division or Portuguese B side. None have had enough minutes for anyone to make a calculated opinion, Rusyn and Mayenda look sharp but we haven't give them anything to work with. Your 4 Sunderland SC holder work mates clearly haven't listened to the repetitive message that's been fed out by the club for two years that we use data to make our signings, no player is going to come in as the finished article. They are going to be disappointed if they expect the club to buy two experienced strikers we already have four and play one upfront.
-
You haven't got a clue what you are talking about man, 3 out of the 4 strikers we have haven't been fit and have a collective total of around 4 starts between them. As for your second paragraph, Have a word with yourself, idiot.
-
Oh because OverThere hasn't heard of them, it means they are shite.
-
So we didn't fail to get a striker in, We have four and we had a manager who hasn't been getting the best out of any of them.
-
I trust them, They've earned it. They want promotion, How easy is it? Probably very difficult but they are sticking to their plan and thats all you can ask.
-
He said prior to the Millwall game that 'the foreign lads sometimes don't understand him', - He says shite like this all the time without seemingly doing anything to remediate it.
-
Failed to get a striker in? We've signed 4.
-
We are a decent striker away from competing at the higher end and our football is good, but he also has 10 points from 11 games. His in-game tactical decisions are shite, None of his subs ever impact games and we massively struggle to adapt unless Plan A is going well. We are also easy to play against and concede shit, sloppy goals every week. There's better managers out there than Mowbray, We just need to get one.
-
Agreed. I think they wanted shot in the summer but performances and then his behaviour this season has been odd to say the least. Some of his recent press conferences have been mental to say the least.
-
Right timing for me, If he stayed we would just be solidifying another season in the Championship and not threatening the playoffs. The form and performances have dipped off a cliff and he is never going to be the long term answer. We are relatively safe this season from any threat of relegation so why not take a punt on a manager that could put a run together and fits in with your 'longer term' vision. I think it looks harsher than what it is because he's one of only a select few managers that have left after doing a decent job. Have to trust the recruitment team and owner, They haven't got a lot wrong since taking full control.

We need to sell to reinvest and we are growing players to be sellable assets, Football is mental now whereby you can get 30 million for a promising youngster which then totally transforms how you can operate in the window. Regardless of the fact we haven't made a huge sale yet to be able to massively reinvest, The team we have is better than 9th with 10 points from 11 games. Mowbray was never the long term appointment, He was a stop gap to stabalise and he's done exactly that. I would much prefer the club being proactive than reactive.
-
We've sold Stewart for 10 million and he hadn't kicked a ball for nearly a year, He's now fucked again at Southampton. Apart from him, Who have we sold? It's a myth we haven't spent money. We don't have parachute money to chuck 10s of millions at people, But we have spent money.
-
Good decision in my opinion, About time we were ruthless instead of just plodding along hoping something changes. Mowbray undoubtedly did a good job on the whole, Had us playing some lovely football but the chances of a Mowbray team getting promoted are slim. Rumours are the board wanted shot in the summer but they kept him on due to the performances last season. We had Farioli lined up and backtracked, He's got Nice absolutely flying. He was never a long term appointment, He was a stop gap for stability and to allow younger players to flourish. He's done that and it's all gone a bit stale, Obviously it's a gamble but it's one the owners think is worth taking in the next 'phase' of building the club back up.

You will absolutely muller us.

I agree with you, Fair game I say.

Weird one his tenure as a whole, Done really well when you consider a European Final and a WC Semi, but then at the same time feel like he's underachieved as we should have won something with the players we have. He always seems to include 3 or 4 shocking selections in his squads, The inclusion of Phillips is a joke.

What a win, I dont think we will go down after all
-
They are young kids that we have managed to keep a hold of. I have no doubt about it that Patterson, Ballard, Clarke and Neil will end up in the PL. I said the same about Stewart and I think he would have if he hadnt been injured for a season, Infact he will probably be there with Southampton next season. Theres others too, but I think the four above are nailed on.
-
Yes but thats the way we need to do it. We had absolutely no value in the playing squad when KLD took over, Fast forward 2 years and we have several players who could potentially go for 8M+ We are tied with FFP and therefore we cant go out and spend millions on proven Championship players, If you do you are then stuck for two or three years as you have blown your budget in fees and wages and in that time you essentially must get promoted instantly or you’re fucked. Southampton and Leicester can afford the risk and expense, Theyve brought in millions and have parachute payments to fall back on. We are behind the curve of more than half the division and therefore need to be creative in other ways. We need to have one of the best scouting systems, use data, utilise loans well, offer other academy players first team oppertunities on a permanent basis, get better value from abroad etc, it’s not easy. Stewart is our 7th highest sale of all time, It shows you how badly our recruitment has been over recent years. We picked him up for 400K and sold him for 20 x the fee. More than happy with our window, retained our best (fit) players and added more youth, quality, potential and value to the squad, all bar one on a permanent basis.
-
Very happy with the window, Managed to hang onto our best players and cashed in on Stewart who had no intention of staying for a big fee. 4 strikers in total now, albeit alot unproven but that’s the model they go for and it hasnt done too badly so far. Only one I’m not sure on is Batth leaving as he was solid for us but have to trust once the lad from PSV is fit, he’s the one we have alongside Ballard.

I didn't know you had a heart attack, But i'm pleased to hear that you are on the mend and I hope you get sorted. I hope it wasn't caused by all that stress talking bollocks about Sunderland

Over 24 hours to come back with that..
