  1. Other than replacing him, whatever happens it's win win for us. We either have a world class player in the most important position, or we make a massive wedge. We all want him to stay though of course. If he was to go, an Arsenal or a team of their level isn't his place for me. He's above that, and would deserve a serial winners type team imo. Replacing the goals and the way he joins in an attack with his passing ability will be something close to impossible to replace at our current stage. We hit the jackpot with this one.
  2. Proper odd being only a point behind City, even with their form. We're right in the race currently, which makes it interesting going into Jan, surely worth strengthening?
  3. What I've noticed most is our speed of play, far less time spent thinking what to do and now just getting it done. Lots of first time passes makes us so dangerous with the pace we have, doesn't give defenders a chance to react! Tooooon!
  4. Lozano leaving to MLS this window. More likely to replace him.
  5. Not exactly a transfer rumour but just needed to highlight what a fuckin' idiot this bloke is. When asked where Grealish should move to, Deeney told talkSPORT: “Newcastle, easy. There’s loads of teams, anyone outside the top four. “Anyone outside the top four, he would easily go into and dominate, if he went to Newcastle, it would be considered a massive step down for him. “But it’s a great club with a great fanbase and I think Jack needs to feel that again, feel that he’s loved, feel that the fanbase love him, but also he’s the man to drive them forward.”
  6. It's because he's finally signed up to N-O and read our advice.

  8. No striker we sign is getting ahead of Isak, so we have to sell a bench role and a 'maybe' a path opens for you, to a player like Evan Ferguson who is pretty much in that same position currently and would likely be looking for a starting spot.
  9. Who would you go with instead? Assuming we're looking at Tonali deep and Bruno allowed abit more freedom, who fits the other position best? I like the thought of Willock, his pace in the middle is nice and then if he can get that chemistry going with Isak again that could be interesting. Just no Longstaff and I'm good.
  10. Just watched it. Gordon and Hall looking likely to lock down the left side for England. Cant see them not playing down our left week in week out and continuing to improve their link up play. Both brilliant. Tonali made the midfield work, really solid intelligent performance. Does the simple stuff, does the technical stuff. Dare take him out again Eddie. Isak, some insanely good movement and touches of the ball. Should've had more than one on the scoreboard and probably a few assists. I will grown man cry if he leaves, I need to watch him play football every week. Overall - good signs that we created quite alot for Isak, which if we can somehow find a way to maintain he will hit that ice cold clinical state again. Midfield I think needs not to change much anymore, Bruno and Tonali every game and then Big or Little Joe depending on opponent. Longstaff can come on to see some games out.
  11. I think he's better tbh. Bruno has his loveable side and is very good but Tonali is a midfield monster!
