Those costs are extremely low. And not millions of pounds worth.
-
Ok fair enough. But they are the real numbers of losses in the last 2 years. And they won’t be adjusted by hardly anything for other things. There is a reason why we are touting players around. And there is also a reason we have not spent money yet.
-
It does. Why wouldn’t it?
-
I’ve just sent you the actual numbers per the accounts. It’s 73m loss and 70m loss. So we are 143 loss over the last two seasons. This next season we have to bring in 143-105 profit to meet FFP. It sucks.
-
The last two seasons we have made losses. The most recent being 74m. The prior one being similar.
-
I don’t think we are selling to buy new players. I think we are selling to meet FFP right now. I don’t think after a sale we buy anyone. This rolling 3 year 105m thing was great for the first 2 years because Ashley was such a bitch and we could spend. But now 2 years down the road those two years of profits have dropped off. Being replaced by 2 years of losses. So over the last two years we have made losses of £150m (estimate) and this year we need to bring that back.
-
I did say the other day we need to sell to meet FFP. This looks like it’s true. What a shit show FFP is. Worlds richest owners and we can’t buy anyone and have to sell players because the status quo want to stay at the top. FFP was designed to maintain the dirty half dozen.

Yes I agree with this. He has done well coming in for Botman and never put a foot wrong. He gets so much grief but he’s not that bad a player.
-
10/10. That’s even odds. I want 2/1 mate.
-
So the knees thing is a load of poop. He looks a baller mind from his highlights reel. That’s my scouting done. He’s world class.
-
Just watched his highlights reel. Likes a finish. But he’s very VERY left footed.
-
Is this transfer for real. A kid who has dislocated both knees. Under our medical fuck show. And Eddie the flogger Howe. What can possibly go wrong. Is the fee really 17m?

Or right now. Things have stagnated now. The domino effect is real. Theres hardly been any transfer activity this January so far. -

Have a look at the last January spend to date in January compared to this one. Its a polar opposite. -

I’m not so sure mate. I’ve been reading we have pushed it to the wire when it comes to FFP. And we have been playing by the rules. Definitely. Something is just off with this whole transfer window. For all teams. Its no coincidence that hardly any transfer activity has happened. My guess is the PL have said to all clubs. FFP is here. We need to be seen as regulators and with the governments independent involvement that they have said be above board. -

Oh I know. The media paint that picture. But I’ve studied our accounts for the last 3 years and we may be in breach depending on certain rulings from the Everton and Forrest appeals. The club have been asked to be squeaky clean since the takeover. And there is no doubt it’s not a coincidence that we have spent absolutely zero (Klopp can fuck off with his ceilings) this window so far. By all means we are actually touting our players out. -

I hope so. But the signals coming out from the club are that we have to sell to comply with FFP. -

No. Just to make sure we are not breaking the shitty rules the PL have put in place so our takeover went through. I have no doubts that it only went through because we agreed to be squeaky clean. Convinced. -
The above board is likely. We are playing it cautious with transfers because of FFP and Everton and Forrest. And we are playing it cool with commercial deals because of Man City. Both legal actions put the spotlight firmly on us to keep our bum squeaky.

A lot on here saying he’s bullshit mate. Im not so sure. The smoke is too thick. And although I love Miggy for 30 million this would open doors.

We don’t actually know that for this season we are in. Remember we spend a shit load in the summer. I also do wonder whether the club where pushing it to the limits and got a bit scared with Everton and Forrest getting their wrists slapped. -

I can honestly see this one happening. It feels like the club HAVE to sell someone to comply with FFP. Not to buy anyone. And I think it’s linked to Everton and Forrest.
