Our biggest problem is pace. We control the ball attack and commit. But then seem to get hit brutally hard. To stop that you need a DM and I think that’s what Ederson is. For me he looks a perfect fit. At the right price and at the right time.

He looks an upgrade on Longstaff to me. Him Bruno and Joelinton would be solid. Then add Tonali to the mix. Longstaff and Willock you have a decent mix.

That’s right. And people can say well they can just sell the players. Yes they can but if they don’t sell them for more than their amortised value on the balance sheet it has no major impact on FFP. So players who have been at the club for longer are more sellable assets. The whole thing is a mess.

I’ve just read that Chelsea got away with the spending spree with the PL because of the 7-8 year contracts. The same doesn’t apply in Europe. So if do get in Europe they are screwed and will have to sell players again. Gallagher being a prime player to sell because he would bring a high fee with no actual cost.

Yes that is true. At his peak when he was scoring he was worth 30-40m. Now he’s back to being normal Miggy. Still worth 20-30m in today’s prices. I wouldn’t sell him though. Just with the injuries.

Apparently he was recalled because he wasn’t getting paid on time. He is apparently still waiting for Decembers pay from Liege. So we pulled him back and are to loan him out again because he wants first team football. He would be cover for us.

I considered bringing up Fraser but I think that relationship with Howe is definitely done. Hayden I would bring back in the fold. There could be an issue with an automatic contract extension if he plays another game but that also could be a load of bullshit. I am sure I read this somewhere.
