Isak to Wolter is the biggest drop off in quality we've had this season. Second is the keepers. It certainly makes more sense than suggesting that the rest of the squad forgot how to play their positions

Our keepers have been shite, but there's been increased pressure on our defence all season because we've not scored as many goals. Holding on to a 2 or 3 goal lead is easier than a 1 goal lead

So our most expensive signing was supposed to replace Wilson on the bench?

But that is down to Woltemade replacing Isak, not because everyone suddenly became unsuited to the formation

I didn't shite on the lineup and I don't want him to fail, what are you talking about? I want us to win everything there is to win and Nick to score a million goals for us in the process. But I'm not going to go OTT about him taking a simple chance that was put on a plate for him. Comparisons to Kane, and literally making up pork pies about how Kane developed just to try to make the comparison work is fucking mental behavior. We've seen Woltemade take chances earlier this season, then go missing for months on end. Today I still saw him looking on a different wavelength to everyone else at times, he did his slippy party trick a few times too. But he massively raised his game and looked like an adequate footballer today. It doesn't make him a future balon dor winner or make it likely that he'll win the golden boot at the world cup like has been mentioned in this thread. It tells you how shite he's been for us for half a season

Kane was 21 when he scored 21 league goals, 30 for the season, and won the young player of the year. He scores a tap in and people are going crazy again I see. He's fallen over more times than he's had a shot at goal

Anderson is the top performer in his position for passing, tackles, interceptions etc. has a big impact on games. I don't think Gordon is anywhere near the top wingers based on stats
