  1. Good article from the Athletic last year, but modified for the present. I guess the only question now is will the general malaise at Old Trafford be enough of a millstone around this guys neck.
  2. For those who have expreesed a doubt as to Eddie might have reached a ceiling:
  3. - - From the full aricle Inside Newcastle’s transfer revolution ‘worth millions if you get it right’ https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-transfer-revolution-worth-millions-3322993?ITO
  4. The guy seems a bit of an asshole but he's certainly a driven one, on a crusade. The conclusion he attempts to bring you too is that Saudi never planned to invest and only bought the club to 'sportswash'. I'd prefer to think there has been no investment YET, whilst the EPL actively preventing one of their own members, ( namely NUFC ); once those restraints are lifted, or restructured into a more fair and balanced set of rules that don't favour the cartel much, then the funds will start to flow. Am I right, I don't know that any more than Andrew Page does. We are both drawing our own conclusions.
  5. Some (most?) of the posts in this thread sound very similar to the atmosphere of the crowd. Entitled?, we should be world beaters!
  6. Nobody found a viable utube link, my Firestick letting me down and Kodi. Don't even care its a shitshow, I need my fix!
  7. Been waiting for a showing like that since first game of the seasn. We're Back!

Don't think he is covering a story to be honest, I am thinking he is trying to create one that isn't even in there to begin with.

Amazes me sometimes how we can all read the same things and yet arrive at different conclusions. I read Hope's (Boo!) and Douglas's articles and on the whole found nothing but positivity for the future. Never read Edward's as it may have incensed me. Most of what I took from it was Ashworth is a charlatan, already past his expertise/experience level (dinosaur) and being left behind - good luck Man U! (snigger).
  10. Could have done, I don't remember. But shatter my carefully constructed illusions anyway!
  11. And to think the rest of the football world thought he was a forward player. In Eddie we trust.
  12. Joe Linton MoM Schär should have known better; as should Bruno, giving away a FK almost on the edge of our box. Too many emotions bubbling up there. Ref was appalling! Fabulous team effort defending, onwards and upwards....
  13. I don't remember this! Adidas ad from when Keegan was manager.
