  1. According to Roy Hodgson, Shearer should be "concerned" about Harry Kane going on to breach his premier league goals record. Why would Shearer be concerned? And this is the man who put Harry Kane on corner duty during the euros.
  2. Diving back into the archives, on this day in 2014, we beat Cardiff 3 nil at sjp, amidst an otherwise sombre atmosphere. Prior to the win, we had lost six in a row. Our scorers on the day were Shola, Loic Remy and Steven Taylor. The goals for Remy & Shola would end up being their final ones for the club.
  3. Hit the second as sweet as a nut, but I reckon the first was more of an intentional one. Both embarrassed Cech though I reckon.
  4. Must have felt like that to Cech too.
  5. Diving into the archives. On this day in 2012, we beat Chelsea 2 nil at Stamford Bridge. Papiss Cisse scored a fine brace.
  6. Wilson's now up to 15 league goals for the season. His highest return to date. Hopefully he can breach the 20 goal mark.
  7. Chris Sutton is backing us to win 5 nil. I too think we could get a few. Goal scorers all over the park for us.
  8. Eddie Howe on Isak: I can see the comparisons (to Thierry Henry). The speed, build and frame. The assist last night was truly remarkable. He can still get a lot better.

    The old days

On this day in 2002, we came back from 1 nil down to beat the Hammers 3-1 @ sjp. Our scorers on the day were Lua Lua, Robert & Shearer. We had already wrapped up 4th place by then. Hopefully our current stars can emulate those of yesteryear.
  10. Yes that's correct mate. Got the year wrong. I'm glad you were there to witness it.
  11. Hi all. New poster from Nairobi Kenya, and delighted to be here! A bit of nostalgia mackem related. On this day in 2003 we beat them 1-nil with Nobby Solano scoring. It was their thirteenth loss in succession.
