We miss Isak, not ASM. ASM didn't really do that much vs low blocks. He did more when he got space.

We just can't play against low blocks..

There's a lot of stats that doesn't equal effectiveness.. Don't see what's wrong with the stat, if you take it for what it is. It's not supposed to tell you which players who has played the best. Do you hate heat maps aswell, since it doesn't equal effectiveness?

What's wrong about it? It tells you a bit about how much responsibility certain players have, and how much effort they put in.

I remember they were not too happy with him after some mistakes in the World Cup. I believe he missed a couple of big chances by a mile.

Fair. Good strikers for a fair price are not easy to find nowadays, so Isak is very important. But it's also hard to find a good DM without breaking the bank.

Botman is probably the most consistent one. Not sure about Isak vs Bruno, because they both have been insane at their best, but Isak has had some games where he's barely getting involved. Typical for a striker though, it even happens with Haaland. Kind of hard to compare the performances of Bruno and Isak, with Isak being a striker.

Good thing we're not playing Liverpool and City every week. Anyways I don't think it's a coincidence that he does this for Brazil. I kinda had a feeling it would happen. It's not necessarily just about him and his form, also the system, his role, and the players around him.

We started Maximin at LW at the start of the season. In our losses we started either ASM or Gordon at LW. We also played 5 games with Isak out wide. In all the games I included we started a different player at LW. Edit: Yes, but I didn't mean central of the middle 3. You know what I meant.

Some stats from last season. Counting games where he played more than 45 minutes. Joelinton at LW: 8-3-0 (GD 23-4) (4 goals 1 assist) Joelinton at CM: 4-9-5 (GD 24-23) (2 goals 1 assist) Since the start of last season we've won 5 out of 22 games with Joelinton playing at CM.

In the 21/22 season he did fine at CM, but last season? I can't remember him having many stand out performances in the middle last season, but he had some amazing displays at the wing. I feel like Joelintons passing ability in tight areas is a weakness for him, which is not that much of a weakness out wide. For a central midfielder it's more of a liability.
