BBC have just described Mo Salah grabbing a mobile phone from the crowd and taking a selfie as being an 'iconic' moment. Amazing that, it took the pyramids thousands of years to become an icon, Salah has achieved it in less than 5 minutes!

Does anyone else think it's odd how many Ashley era shirts you see attending SJPs on match days? I mean it's fair enough if you don't have enough money to buy a new shirt but if you can afford to go to the match you can afford something better than a Wonga era shirt to attend the match in? Guarantee you'll always see a relegation shirt and a Wonga shirt at every home game.

Iconic my arse. The Wembley twin towers were iconic. The Eiffel Tower is iconic Marilyn Monroe is iconic. The Coca-Cola logo is iconic. The South Stand at Villa Park is not iconic. Boils my piss when people don't understand what iconic means.

I agree I'm not sure they would counterfeit this particular shirt either. The material looks convincing and the label looks vintage as well. I agree the badge is done slightly differently to the player version. I guess we'll have a better idea when the auction ends.

Umbro replica shirts did used to differ from the player shirts in the 70s and 80s tho.

Again we have some people saying "he's not captain material". Are you saying that before today's game, if you'd had your way, you'd have taken the captaincy off him? Under Bruno's captaincy we are 3rd in the Premier League and have won the League Cup. He has bad games sometimes. And he's an excellent captain who for the most part has galvanised and motivated the team.

FH have now adjusted this prediction to show the horizontal stripes as arches that represent the Tyne Bridge. That's much more interesting in my opinion. Actually has potential to be great depending on how much it actually looks like the Tyne Bridge arch.
