Stripes done creatively can be done much better than what adidas have produced for us with this. AC Milan 23/24 was very good in my opinion.

I don't mind it either. It's not great but it's better than last years and I think it's a good idea to switch it up once in a while. Adidas have been marketing football shirts for over 50 years now, they know better than anyone else what does and doesn't sell. Deviations from tradition must sell well because they've been doing them for various clubs for many years now. Anyone who thinks the social media outrage we've seen over this shirt means it will sell poorly is mistaken, I think. If a plain black and white stripe polo shirt design was going to be the greatest selling shirt in history then that is what we would get, year after year. The club and adidas aren't interested in being creative or innovative, they just put out what will sell.

The thing with Sela is - I think we all know that the deal with them is some kind of financial shenanigans, what with them being part of PIF and the fact that no one really knows what they are or what benefit they get from sponsoring us. SURELY after three years the commercial team could have found an genuine sponsor for us that creates actual revenue for the owners?

I don't think they are prohibited from having alcohol sponsors in the Premier League although Everton were the last ones I can recall in 2017.

Sounds like sponsorless home shirts could be commercially available if we don't secure a new sponsor very soon - I wouldn't be surprised if they've already gone into production if its going to be the usual June launch.

I actually like that. We should do the same and paint the Milburn Stand entirely brown and paint NEWCASTLE UNITED F.C. in massive white letters all along the front.

Can anyone access the 'Isak to Liverpool' thread from last summer on RTG and see how many replies it had. I'm sure it had thousands of replies. What's the liklihood there will be a 'Brian Blobby to Bayern Munich' thread on here with 200+ pages?

What else should PIF have done to get more out of the team to keep the upward trajectory going? Not talking about the people who are in charge of recruitment, but specifically PIF.
