last time I had a look at the coefficients its not so great for England, 5th place worth CL thingy is very much in the balance right now. Its a big fight between Spain, Germany, England because I dont think Italians will manage to go big in business end of season like last year (they had finalists in all big finals) so far English clubs are having bit mediocre results, lots of unexpected bad results from Brighton in EL, for MU in CL struggling vs the likes of Galata, Copenhagen, us getting shafted with the group of death, Arsenal, Pool advancing but still had surprise losses to French clubs, so overall it could have been better but lots to play for in all series. once group stage is over and we see who is still alive we can see more clearly. if MU and us getting only 4th in CL groups, thats a bit of a dent as others will really need to go really far. but of course I only want 5th to be a CL place if its us on the 5th place, if its Spurs or MU fuck them ... As I heard MU and Chelsea are both in bit of FFP risk if they dont get CL next season. pretty sure Chelsea in the shit anyway given their recent big spending with no CL this season.

wouldnt mind to dip into the Saudi market, for a loan or two. every other club can loan players from there, so nothing to see. more worried about them continue to buy up the dross from our rivals like Varane, Sancho for big fees who otherwise would need to be kept on their mega salary causing unrest for them. if we cannot get a player from there when we really need a few bodies in, at least make sure they dont help our direct rivals offloading deadwood for decent fees

CL group imo is pretty much fucked for us, but I do think we can maybe finish ahead of Spurs, Vill, Brighton, United in the league with a bit of luck and some good January transfers. getting back to CL would be huge both sporting wise and financially too has to be the priority above anything else.

rotation is something he didnt need to do too much previously. never managed in Europe before did he, on top of domestic league? expect same at Brighton, they jumped into European football from not being there ever probably, and even tho they have lot easier EL games than us in CL, they will feel it badly come Dec and January. Howe needs to learn rottion is crucial in a schedule like this, was very surprised 1-1.5 month ago when the starter was almost the same every game in PL, in CL. he would probably start Burn, Botman, Schar, Tripper backline in every single game if he could. will not work long term if we are in Europe too. its not just the extra 6 group games its lack of time to work on next game, lack of time for relax, more injuries with more games etc. it all adds up. our CL games are brutal, all high tempo top teams with vast experience in CL all can easily reach QF's. not most of the opponents of our PL rivals like Red Star, Young Boys, Copenhagen, Lens, PSV etc. these would be ripped apart by our CL opponents. on top of that brutal unlucky Carabao draw. with his playing style we need a much bigger squad, obviously FFP restricted us while our two main transfers ended up being out quite early. dont underestimate a new signing coming and hitting it straightaway look at Doku, Maddison, Rice all adding lot of value. For us it was Tonali what a crash it became with his ban, and Barnes got a longer injury before he even could have started to perform.

we need to look at loans in January with limited loan fees. mostly at bench of other top clubs possibly. worry is if this injury wave continues well into December as well, meaning we get 1-2 new players injured every single game. that will not be helped then if we get in 2-3 loan players in January. they will be injured by end of January lol. training regime, fitness trainings, recovering, match tempo all needs to reviewed by Howe and Tindall, as this many injuries is not just bad luck.

we need to spend next week trying to find some friends in PL to make sure this anti Newcastle thing cannot get passed. then in January we need to loan 2-3 great players from Saudi league.

this is bad. many our rivals will go to them and win by 3 goals. injury wise our season is horrible and the extra CL games really stretching our squad. last week was immense by beathing United and Arsenal but we managed to get no momentum of those and lost to Dortmund without much fight and now to a complete shit Bournemouth. also 2 weeks break to think about these losses now. which probably is a good thing looking at the injuries.
