still not buying his 'injury' that kept him out of the Arsenal game and he may as well have sat out the Everton game
-
chuffed for him tbh will be v difficult to replace hope he does great in Spain farewell sweet prince
-
I predict he'll end up winning the treble with Bayern, top scorer in the CL and an insane amount of goal contributions overall then other fans incredulous we let him go
-
always thought DCL would've been a canny signing but seems most here were dead against that
-
yes he hasn't been bad at all, just think he also has a lot more to offer
-
I've accepted this is very much a transitional season after the Isak shit show completely derailed the team Elanga, Wolte, Wissa, and Ramsey have a lot to prove if they're still around next season Howe deserves another season Arteta likely to win the league and potentially CL this season goes to show the value of patience and stability
-
disappointing if he's off, for all the hate he gets here (which I've never understood), I think he'll be very difficult to replace - and there's every chance all the money is squandered like with Isak
-
he is class, but hasn't been as great this season as he was last season exaggerations here are wild, and the slightest hint of infidelity is enough to make people completely turn against our players last season you'd swear he was the best midfielder in the world, this season he's been mostly "shite" from what I've read here I think he has struggled for form this season but nowhere near as bad as made out took me a while to warm to him but now I fully appreciate how good he is at his best and how unbelievably difficult he'd be to replace I pray MU don't get him or Bruno, it doesn't seem fair
-
not unheard of for players to miss one game then be fit for the next
-
we need to accept that we're just not that high up in the football food chain until we can offer the top wages our best players will always look to move on MU would be fucking horrible but they'll be playing in the CL and paying him more sadly
-
ah right my bad, one less thing to be annoyed about so!
-
edit - was wrong about who injured Burn
-
that's Burn and Botman that Brobbey guy has had taken off injured now?
-
Villa beat Liverpool 7-2 Bayern beat Spurs 7-2 Liverpool beat MU 7-0 unless we're semi-regularly getting hammered I wouldn't worry about it better team for 3/4 of the tie which gives some hope and usually we give the better sides a really good game even if we don't win
-
what happened to Wolte that played up front against Chelsea at SJP scored twice and should've had a first half hat-trick we were immense that day and should've buried Chelsea by half time
-
a good effort but we keep gifting them goals and they'll probably score more anyway really hope Elanga gets another
-
They have the most talented player in the world in Yamine Lamal imo he should be suspended of course, absolute joke he wasn't booked last week Pedri is also one of the most technically gifted midfielders in the world if they play well they could beat any team in the world by 3 or 4 so I'm not expecting anythint really I just hope we give a good account of ourselves and aren't robbed by another terrible decision from ref/var
-
I think last season we probably win this game this season we just concede too many goals and miss too many big chances we probably need to score 3 or 4 as they will inevitably get a few we also really miss our talisman Bruno, he was made for games like this they can always move up a few gears and take the sting out of the game I fear it'll be like the recent City cup games stopping Lamine Yamal is almost impossible
-
that is some serious dead leg will have missed about 10 games by the time he's back
-
yeah that's what I read during the match thread, if we scored after the allocated time it makes literally no sense how it could extend to 10 mins
-
I've seen a lot of talk about the Ramsey sending off but very little about the first half added time as I missed the game can someone explain what happened? our penalty was scored in the 6th minute of added time, which seems a lot was this over the original allocation? any explanation about how it then went into 10 minutes? like was there any possible reason? it's rare enough for the refs to add anything on in the first half unless there's a lengthy var check or injury seems completely arbitrary how they decide and really needs to be looked at another day that costs us 3 points
