Watching him go over to the fan in the wheelchair and hug him was one of the best celebrations I've ever seen from a player. That family was so thrilled. Also, just the way he always points to his badge after every goal makes him my favorite player. Hes everything that Isak isnt; loyal, selfless, and an awesome human being.

Where has that been reported? Everything I seen seems to suggest he made the decision as a show of respect towards the club. I doubt they told him he can't go.

I can understand people wanting to keep him and not giving in. It's a shitty situation he put us in and giving into him has a similar feeling of having a cactus shoved up my ass but I do wonder if Eddie and the lads are better off just being rid of the guy. I don't believe the notion that he told management that he wanted to leave awhile ago because the whole Hugo thing would make no sense. To be fair.. in the NFL, most of the players holding out do tend to get new contracts. Miles Garrett and couple others this off-season. But it's all about leverage. The good thing about the NFL is that they continuously fine you and you don't get paid which forces the player to make a deal or report back to the team. Does Isak still get paid his full contract during this whole thing? That just seems crazy. This team would be so good right now with him playing like he did last year.

These "journalists" are all so pathetic. They all piggyback each other's stories but they will then add another detail to it to make it seem like they have the inside scoop. They know that Isak's camp aren't denying the reports so they can make up parts of a story with no fear of blowback. It's like a bunch of kids screaming for attention at the same time.

He never panics with his words and always has a purpose behind them. The type of thing you see from an older manager but he seems to have mastered it already.

The part that annoys me most is when he did it. He's literally picked the worst time possible to ask for a transfer. Waited till the options for striker have dwindled and pops up with this bullshit.

The team said they had zero interest in trading him. A few weeks later after all types of rumors he signed a four year extension for 160 million with the same team and all the animosity completely ended. Point is that just because he wants to leave, doesn't mean it can't be resolved. I would tell him that he has to wait for at least a year if he is that desperate because we hold all the cards.
