Not seen any of the game. What’s the consensus? Poor and off it from word go where the long break once again looks to make us worse?
-
Yep. Legit starting CB and RW, and if money allows, young goalkeeper who’s ready to challenge Pope. They’re the priority areas this summer. Wilson goes, a young striker too who’s capable of playing minutes if needed first season.
-
Derby county vibes, where like 1/3 of their points was against us.
-
Option C is hands down the best option. Think I said similar and a few others other month too, follow Spurs route where it can be built in two phases, with minimal impact.

Could that be because those players have not been worth it since takeover? Only been two summer windows so far, and giving the bloated squad and capacity to spend, we could target the big signings. But long term, you can’t have 20 players in a squad that all cost minimum £30m+. Just not viable unless you are established as a proper big dog. We will need to replace the proper crap/worthless squad players with better squad players. Ideally, every signing you make is to improve the XI so squad improves that way, but realistically that’s not going to be possible so need to maximise value elsewhere. Tosin in particular would be good free transfer when we want/need two CBs this summer because of the injuries. Issue with him and Kelly is the wages. If some club is willing to give them £100k+, then we will go elsewhere because we can’t be giving those contracts out unless they’re a certified banger. Think that’s what’s put us off following up soft interest in players in previous summers on a free.

Positive. Stays fit, all to gain for both parties. One, he needs and wants to perform to put himself in frame of a new deal here or elsewhere, and two, we get to rest Isak or try a different option if opposition have got Isak number.

Think 10 points would be a great return. 63 points will be enough for top 7 with our GD IMO.

The contact goes into area.

I’m not going to be satisfied with football till the day Man Utd finish bottom half in a season. Genuinely been so crap more often then not for so long now post Fergie, but always finishing like top 6 Helps when you can spend like £2bn over that time though.
-
Just laughable how easy Man Utd are to play through. No more solid than bottom 6 sides, just get away with it because they’ve got moment players at other end.
-
Love it. Hope the bald twat loses again.

Jamal Lewis was broken by Bruce. Shame he was one of the few players Howe couldn’t rescue after Bruce era, because he was a good attacking LB at Norwich.

Get Trafford back in
-
Pure class. Back to dominating at home, LOVE IT. Spurs will be mentally fucked coming here next season.

LOOOOOL Fuck off VDV

Not quick this time was he you wanker.

I’m sick of Barnes in this game.
-
That’s a blatant yellow ffs.
-
That’s so bloody poor from Barnes. Ignores overlap, and goes for a pathetic effort that wasn’t on, and leads to counter as we’ve committed men.
-
Foul for slipping over
-
Dubravka not sweeping as usual.
-
Burn against Johnson As has been for a long time, attack best form of defence. Not going to hold them at bay by sitting back and counter, just got to go for it and get that lead, and make it a scrappy game. Really want us to bring back our cunt tactics. That’s what helped us loads last season, just not really seen it this season.

His contract ends 2025, so not like Brentford can hold out too much as he’s not signing a new deal. Wouldn’t be surprised if he moves closer to £40m with add-ons later in window. Because Toney will be agitating for a move.
