  1. It's like trying to trade a Fiat for a Ferrari.
  2. We are being way too nice to him, and other players will follow his lead if we don't make an example out of him. Fucking Marinakis had Gibbs White doing an apologetic side pitch interview, after he signed a new contract, where he says he loves to stay at Forest after Spurs triggered his release clause, while we have this cunt running away to Spain while faking injuries. I mean, what does it say to other transfer targets we are looking to get if the best player is going on strike in order to get a move to a team we are trying to get closer to? Fuck him. Club has to have some mechanisms in order to protect themselves. Sure this rag is not saying that he will play with 50% of his ability if he doesn't get a move. What else can he do? This should've been done way earlier. But I have a feeling that Eddie is the decision maker here; he would not welcome a player who is 90% committed. And this is the reason why I believe he will leave.
  3. Anything above 45m for this guy will be daylight robbery.
  4. That mugg at United, Vivel, is the person who brought him to Leipzig. They will use every trick in the book to get him.
  5. It never looks good when our best player wants to quit the club, which is on the upward trajectory. The worst thing we can do is sell him, and not be able to reinvest. We are already seeing the Newcastle tax applied to us for almost every transfer. Imagine when everyone will know we have 120m burning in our pockets. What a shame this Isak move is.

I don't think it's the 5 million holding up the deal. If that was the case, we would've simply added those to the total sum in the shape of easily achievable bonuses over time, and lock this down. What I do believe is holding up the deal is the structure of the bid. Palace is probably asking for a lump sum payment, or larger portion of the payment upfront, something we might not be able to do, due to cash flow, hence the lengthy ongoing negotiations with Palace. Even clubs with bigger revenue then us are not able to lock transfers down because of this.
  7. The deal was locked on Friday, before our sales of Minteh and Anderson, so it counted against last year PSR. Somehow, from the money we wanted, 20m, it seems that we were the ones that made concessions on the amount, being now reported that its significantly below 10m. And this cunt started working this morning for them.

    Tosin Adarabioyo

I really don't like how this end of the season/start of the summer is developing. First the Ashforth saga Bruno's release clause is being made public with teams circling around Then missing out on European football because of the scums FA Cup win Missing out on Adarabioyo who we seemed to had a free pass on Feel good factor for the summer gone.
  9. We can not be selling players of his caliber if we want to improve year in, year out. City did not sell the likes of Toure, Aguero, David Silva etc. Otherwise, we will be playing catch up for a long time. I would understand if he moves to Madrid or Barcelona, but in England, where we want to win stuff? Come on. Its an admission that we are not trying to be the best club around.
  10. It's his agent who has briefed the release clause, and they are looking for the move. His agent will take a cut, and Bruno will earn more. We are still not at the level of the top clubs to be able to keep this type of players. I just hope he doesn't end up at United, that would be a hammer blow.
  11. You can easily point out the Declan Rise fee, and demand 100 million, as it's something that Arsenal has paid for before, so it's not unprecedented. Where I'm afraid this cunt will have a standing leg on in a potential court case is that nobody has ever paid more than 5 million for a Sporting Director, and we are asking for 20m. He will claim that we've put in an unreasonable fee in order to prevent him from switching jobs.
  12. 20m would be a world record fee for a nonplaying executive, including fees paid for football managers. That's what will be the main topic in court, is Newcastle demand unrealistic?
  13. Based on reports, he wont be doing the player targeting for them. They are trying to get him to set up a structure, because most likely, there isnt one over there.
  14. I truly hope you are right, because there simply no way to prove if in case he has brief a name or two. Take Caicedo for example, both Liverpool and Chelsea were in for him. Its open market, you can not say Dibs on a player. Yeah, lets hope they stay classy.
  15. There is no way to fully protect yourself, it's just impossible, no matter what you do. He would've had access to all our top summer transfer targets up until a week ago. All he had to remember was 5-10 names, which is not hard at all. There is absolutely nothing stopping him from going to dinner with one of the INEOS representatives and having an informal conversation saying, - I believe Nico Williams from Atletic Club will be some player in the future. I dont believe his Non-Compete prevents him from talking about specific names or discussing football in general. All he had to do was take his cell phone and take pictures from the screen in front of him, to which he would've had access from anywhere in the World. No evidence left anywhere. We will either need to change some of our transfer planning or resolve this as soon as possible. Makes zero sense to keep him and pay his full salary, while he has provided all the info to them.
