The truth is there's noone left available on the market that we could move for as a #1 striker for the new season. So its Wissa (or alternative) until Isak stops crying into his Liverpool duvet and comes back...
-
You bad man. Look what you did...
-
Whoa. I hadn't even considered this. Incredibly insightful.

Hatching a plan to kill the ninja turtles
-
Maybe he was smuggled in through the sewers?
-
Oh dear. This might be the catalyst to move onto other targets then
-
That's been confirmed by Downey. It's essentially Ramsey instead of McGinn, Khannouss etc
-
Is £125k p/w more than Gordon's latest contract?
-
Villa forum. He wants parity with their higher earners and club has said no (so far)
-
Ramsey asking for £125k p/w apparently, thats more than Isak earns
-
It will happen. Fabrizio will post again on his next break at his McDonalds shift
-
I think its other way round potentially. Villa need to sell to buy sort of thing.
-
The reports aren't contradictory. It says we're close to a deal with Villa on the fee but we're yet to talk to the player, hence there is work to do.
-
He's (Mateta) 28 though. So it would be him OR Wissa and I think the latter is the better player personally
-
Its a risk should he get injured of course
-
If we buy Wissa for £35m then yes. Unless we sell Isak of course
-
Haha that's how I read it... One last chance to up your contract offer Villa
-
Sadly this is the case. Hopefully we bring someone in quickly as we cant afford to drop loads of points early doors. Plus, going into the Liverpool game with no striker after this summer is criminal. Fans are baying for blood and having no striker is basically admitting defeat
-
If Ramsey and Wissa sign and we can successfully reintegrate Isak it will have been a very decent window
-
All focus now has to be on strikers (assuming Ramsey is signed)
-
Villa fans think he's best as an #8. Unai seems to use him down the flanks
-
Aye, it can all change quickly. I'm sure he'll sulk a bit then realise he wants to play and hey presto... he'll be back leading the line again
-
Hope so, but I'll believe it when I see it given our track record this summer of only negotiating one deal at a time
-
So Everton have paid £15m to take Grealish on loan for 1 season and need to pay £50m to sign him next season.... Absolute madness
