Should be banned. Serie A have already banned green kits because they're shit. Might also explain how fucking wayward our passing was today.

I can understand indifference to the kneeling before a match, but being vocally hostile towards it seems like a weird hill to die on. For me, it's a clear sign of how far TalkTV, GB News, Farage and Yaxley-Lennon have taken over the political discourse. I really worry about the direction our country is going.

Can't believe these mugs gave him a 6 year deal on 300k 😂 He now has zero incentive to perform for another contract as he'll be 32 by the time the current deal runs out. Expecting alot of tight groins and calves so he can fuck off for weeks on end staring at his bank account. Wonder how much patience Liverpool fans will have if this continues much further. Not alot I'd expect considering he cost £130m. The inevitable backlash from the Scousers towards him is going to be glorious.

Hard disagree. Local Hero is a banger and "North London Forever" is the most corny sappy-eyed horseshit football anthem of all time. I get proper douche chills whenever I see middle-aged Arsenal fans belting it out.

Also think Liverpool have a serious ego problem. Acting all Billy big bollocks after winning what, 2 league titles in 30 odd years, and now they're cooked. Too many egos in that team who think they're the main character

This is sweet sweet karma for Liverpool's and Isak's conduct over the summer. Looking forward to overtaking them in the league next weekend

Agree with many of the points made here. Two things struck me last night. Firstly the widening gap between the Premier League and other European leagues is really detrimental to European competitions. The sad economic reality is that midtable teams like Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham are now far superior to 75% of CL outfits. The fact two very poor Man U and Spurs teams made the Europa League final last season epitomises this fact. Secondly, the new format is far too bloated. Although I enjoy seeing NUFC winning games in the CL I found myself surprisingly subdued watching us win against Benfica, simply because there is very little jeopardy at this stage. Had this been a game in the old format, the jeopardy and tension would have made for a far more raucous and thrilling affair. The USG president recently gave an interesting interview on the European football ecosystem which is worth a read https://www.calcioefinanza.it/2025/10/20/who-is-alex-muzio-president-union-saint-gilloise-interview/

Bilbao- win Marseille - lose Leverkusen - win PSV - win PSG - lose

I'm not so convinced. Fernando Torres was undoubtedly a great player yet somehow flopped after a big money move to another PL rival. Early signs would suggest that Isak won't fully flourish so long as Slot persists with Salah. I guess we'll find out once afcon begins. The added pressure of Ekitike's performances demanding a starting spot is also delightful to see.

This is the ultimate hate watch. Can both teams lose somehow? 0-0 with Isak ACL tear is the best case scenario me thinks

Absolute shambles that Gyokores and Isak decided to miss out on pre-season knowing that these crucial International games for Sweden were happening and, lo and behold, they've both had sluggish starts to their campaigns and performed like dogshit in the International breaks. Says alot about their character and I hope that they are getting pelters in the Swedish media for it.
