  1. Get rid for big money in the summer
  2. I've never understood how " happy clapper" is deemed a slur. Nothing wrong about a positive outlook especially when it comes to supporting a sports team. These HoweOut folk sound a lot like Brexit folk ten years ago. A lot of pointing at the negatives without offering any real solutions (see where that got this country now). Who do these HoweOuters want in as a replacement? The manager market is dire right now.
  3. Now being linked to Chelsea and Manure. The whole thing stinks. After last summer I've mentally accepted that Tino and Tonali will be gone in the summer. If that doesn't happen it'll just be a massive bonus.
  4. That does seem like a massive fee for a player out Ligue 2 to a newly promoted Ligue 1 club 🤔
  5. Prepare the fanbase for his inevitable exit in the summer
  6. If his agent is agitating already I think it's fair to say he'll be gone in the summer. Even if we qualify for CL we simply can't offer the same wages as the septic 6. The Isak precedent has also shown that the club will ultimately fold if you down tools.
  7. I'm starting to worry he's not a good fit for the Prem. His lack of pace really limits his impact as a forward in this League and that's not something that can be developed. I fear we may have bought a Zirkzee type player who would be better suited to the Italian league.
  8. Have a feeling it'll be 1-1 and we'll end up outside the top 8.
  9. Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Fair play for cementing themselves in the top tier but I would much rather see the likes of Portsmouth, Birmingham City, and Sheffield United back in the prem. Big clubs with proper fanbases
  10. I started applauding in front of the telly when I saw the ref do this. On his debut as well. Refreshing to see a ref back his initial decision and not be bullied into a terrible decision by a VAR nonce.
  11. Agree. I feel like Wissa will be more effective than Wolt for the PSG match
  12. Let's be real, our aim now is to finish top 16 to ensure we play at home in the 2nd leg play off. Considering our dog shit away form I don't see how we could possibly win away in Paris next week.
  13. What's all the panic about? Look at the table we're through to the next round already
  14. According to the Athletic we have about an 11% chance of finishing top 8 and an 89% chance of finishing between 9th-24th
  15. We're already guaranteed a play off spot even if we lose against both PSV and PSG. Fighting for prize money, a favourable tie in the next round and the remote possibility of reaching the top 8
  16. At this rate he'll force Pochettino to select Barron in the USMNT squad
  17. No chance. This whole Carrick's just an interim is a load of tosh. It's his job to lose now, calling him an interim is just a cute way of putting less pressure on him.
  18. I'm completely done with this world cup now that Trump has effectively declared War on Europe. I hope it's empty seats galore. Fuck Infantino and Trump
  19. According to Froggy is a £202m difference in wage bill "insignificant" but the difference between 195k and 200k "significant"
  20. Speaking of significant figures. If we were take your weekly wage bill figures as gospel then Man U have currently a 34% larger wage bill than Newcastle. That sounds pretty significant to me. Also 5 of top 50 PL earners play for Man U while Bruno G is the only one on that list in spot 47. Next week you'll be interviewed by Gary Neville pleading poverty..."We're skint Gary"
  21. Let's not forget the salaries that all these clowns are on either. De Ligt, a defender, is on 200k a week. That seems an awful lot of money for a team that finished 15th. Man U's greatest asset is PSR. Throw enough shit at the wall, i.e £200m every summer while making massive losses on last year's incomings, and eventually it will stick.
  22. Difference is you ALWAYS miss and yet somehow will be able to spunk another £100m on Eliot Anderson who we were forced to sell for PSR. That's the difference.
  23. Boils my piss that Man U can sign a boatload of flops and never be constrained in the next transfer window. Meanwhile we miss once and it'll probably set us back years
  24. Gallowgate Shots live Monday show is always a great listen. They seem to be the most level-headed nufc podcasters imo. The Toon Review and Magpie Fan TV are far too ranty and histrionic after a couple of poor performances for my liking.
