"He'll turn the reds arooooouund" 😂😂😂😂

Everyone should be welcome at the stadium. The problem is more a failure to seat like-minded supporters together and improving accessibility for younger lads. The fact a new stadium seems unlikely now suggests these problems will only get worse as the average age of attendees increases year upon year.

Unless they've started using new mics for TV all I could hear for most of the match was Bruno shouting instructions. Grim

I'm hoping, probably naively, that this edition of the World Cup won't turn into a 24hr Trump broadcast. The pretext suggests otherwise. From the FIFA peace prize fiasco, to Ronaldo's presidential pardon and Infantino's shameless sycophancy, all roads point towards a nauseating Trump arse licking spectacle. Call me a conspiracy theorist but it also wouldn't surprise me if the USMNT are given some favourable refereeing decisions this tournament. No way Gianni "just opened an office at Trump Tower" Infantino allows them to get knocked out in the group stage.

There is simply too much football being played. The market has been well and truly saturated. With every game becoming less meaningful it's become increasingly difficult not to become slowly apathetic towards modern football

He was amazing against Chelsea but if he continues with this form the whole season then I think it might be a good time to cash in on him while he's still an England player. Surely we could get £60m+ for him

Manchester United vs. Newcastle United: 26/12/25 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

Cunha is their only threat with all their injuries and afcon absentees. Keep him quiet and we'll get a result here. -
eScousers are having a meltdown online. Some of the deluded one's think this news is positive and he'll be back on the pitch in March haha. When has this cunt ever recovered quickly from an injury? For us even minor knocks dragged on for weeks LFC have given no timescale for a reason. They know that even the most conservative estimates don't apply to someone with papadam legs like Isak.

Bruno Fernandes missing our game along with their Afcon absentees would be massive for us

This. Ultimately he has a sore knee and will be recieving the best medical care money can buy. On top of that he'll be picking up 350k per week for doing nothing other than a few physio appointments. Considering his summer antics I'm sure he'd rather be knackered picking up that wage at Liverpool then be fully fit banging the goals in for us on a measly £120k per week for us.

This group stage in the new format is going to be a dystopian bloated bore fest. 71 games of little to no jeopardy, no group of death, and massive mismatches played in blazing heat with the compulsory 3 minute "quarter time" breaks to kill any sort of flow in the match (any momentum was likely already killed by a 5 minute VAR check by a coked up Peter Bankes in Miami to decide whether it was indeed a corner for Cape Verde or a goal kick for Saudi Arabia) Will I still watch? Of course, but it's fair to say that the first three weeks will lack any excitement, and it'll only become competitive once the knock outs begin, which is a shame because the old format meant that the tournament was engaging from day 1 as it felt that every game was crucial. FIFA is really destroying football, and this is the first time I've ever considered sacking the whole thing off out of pure disgust towards that corrupt organisation.

Fuck this tournament. Atmosphere will be better in a packed pub at home considering only tech bros will be able to afford tickets

Are there any fans that actually prefer Hey Jude to Local Hero as a walk out song?

Scandalous defending by Brighton for the 2-0

After the whole Isak saga I've mentally accepted that Tino and Tonali are likely to leave in the summer. I really hope it's not the case, but we should be demanding massive fees for both players at least. Like others have said, Gvardiol went for £80m after impressing in the World Cup, so I'd expect Tino to command a similar fee in the summer, especially if he's in the World Cup squad. Tonali should also be valued at around £100m, so long as his recent dip in form doesn't continue.
