Honestly i don’t think even if a training ground gets done, that they are in for the long haul. Getting to be one of the top clubs in the world is going to take a long time, more so than I believe the Saudis were expecting thanks to the rules and the brick wall’s we keep hitting. My worry is they might say ‘fuck it’ this is all too hard, sell us for a tidy profit and take the easy pickings like Man U which obviously have no barriers. Until that new stadium is announced, then personally i know they’re committed because that’s the turning point of commitment. Invest billions in that or a new takeover venture with less hurdles. A training ground, that’s chump change to them.
