The game has been arranged as part of the build-up to England's final Euro 2008 qualifier against Croatia. England met Austria twice in qualifying for the last World Cup - a 2-2 draw in Austria and a 1-0 win at Old Trafford. I think if we somehow manage to qualify, we'd be better off not playing any games at all until the first game of e2008. Couldnt be any worse. There is just too much going against it to play during the league season. Players not giving their all. Managers not being helpful. Supporters not getting behind the team.
