Mike Ashley - Happiest man in England right now

Recommended Posts

Guest sicko2ndbest

I've read lots of articles about how much Mike Ashley was going to lose on the back of England failing to qualify. Profits will go up, sky high! About 80% of England merchandise is brought from Sports world at major tournaments.

This could have a massive implication to how much he spends in January!

His share price will absolutely rocket on Monday, remember the early bird catches the worm!

Dont deserve it but hey, who cares, come on England

do you think my £21 will get him?

unfortunately only a percentage of your £21 will be profit ........but never fear when i bought my £9.99 umbros the assistant asked if they could owe me the penny and as she couldn't specify when the company could pay me back i agreed to waive it so long as it was added to the transfer kitty

This needs a "Materialism - What have you bought from Sports Direct?" thread in General chat

England failure hits sports firms

Sportswear manufacturers and retailers have woken up with a hangover following England's failure to qualify for the Euro 2008 football championships.

England's kit manufacturer Umbro warned in a statement to the Stock Exchange that it expects a "substantial reduction" in sales of England shirts.

The retailer Sports Direct said it was no longer confident its profits this year would beat last year's level.

Shares in both companies fell in early trading in London.

Sports Direct shares fell 18.2% while Umbro shares were down 2.6%.

Other shares also suffered, with retailer JJB Sports falling 8.6%.

The FA are to blame for giving the job to a pillock like McClaren - so Umbro and Ashley should sue them !

McClaren wins their first trophy yet Middlesborough fans are screaming for his head says it all.
